Exactly. I'm sure we remember Trump's outrage at the press's ability to print what they liked, and that he was going to do something unspecified about it.


Of course, it plays perfectly into the "don't believe what you see and hear, believe us" programme which is so typical of cults.

It wasn't pastors speaking. I wouldn't make assumptions about their reactions to his speech. His apparent reference to "your" religion will not have passed notice, I suspect.

I think Trump's referring to (broadly speaking) the War on Xmas. He's given to understand that people of their religion care a lot about that.


I suspect what they care about is the Supreme Court and abortion, so they'll follow Trump's slime-trail anyway.

Seriously? The sort of "pastors" he was speaking to have been repeating this crap for a very long time. For a New Yorker, he knows his target audience very well.
