The Trump Presidency VII

... Christians have faith in God. Democrats have faith in government.

Christians are more likely to kill than a liberal democratic party, acting in the name of absolutes (and a piss-poor reading of them, to boot). Or get away with crimes, declaring an "absolute" right to pardon themselves, a form of right that does not exist in democracy, only theocracy or monarchy. Can't be trusted in government, as they neither understand nor support democracy. Thanks for pointing that out.

Don't forget his claim that he gave the military thrir first pay rise for ten years

Also Trump claimed that he would be a bigger advocate for LGBT people than Hillary. Now he’s bragging that a religious right bigot won the right to discriminate against a gay couple over a cake.

He was going to be too busy to play golf.

Everything Donald Trump says is a lie.

Trump Tweets.

" The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House. Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event. Staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling. Sorry"

As far as I am aware none of the Eagles stayed in the dressing room or kneeled at the Superbowl.

Lies again from Trump.

The thing is his public, bootlickers all, just lap this stuff up. He cancelled the traditional visit because he was going to be hosting an all-white group of Eagles. He'd rather make it about patriotism and the flag because "by gum that flag was good enough for my pappy and grandpappy to not fight in any wars over, and good enough for me to not fight in any wars over, so it ought to be saluted by everyone not of my social standing as long as it distracts you feebs for a few more hours".

Trump found patriotism like he found Jesus and like he found Right to Life - when it was to his advantage to do so to appeal to the numb and clueless.

I'd love to see pictures of him at Generals games or Knicks games when the Star Spangled Banner was playing. I'll bet he's talking to this week's model on his left and not staring dolefully into heaven with his hand over his heart.

It is impossible for the world to ignore its heart. We are the beacon for the world, we are responsible for keeping the peace on this planet. Can you imagine if the world only had China and Russia as the two major powers? Lol.
Can you imagine a world without the Roman Empire? If you can't, read Gibbon's book. Sad.

That's where we're heading because of the Russian whore you're so fond of.

That's not a threat to national security.

Steel (or any other kind of good) produced in Canada or Mexico can quite safely be transported to anywhere in the continental USA because of plenty of land routes. Because of this, to suggest that steel imports from Mexico or Canada is a threat to national security would imply that those countries would embargo the US and refuse to export any steel there.

Essentially Trump and the American government is saying that they don't trust the Canadians or Mexicans to remain friendly towards the US. That is why Trudeau is perfectly correct to see Trump's tariffs, especially in how they are justified, as offensive and hostile towards Canada considering how close they have been politically and economically.

In North America the person north of the border tends to win the war. Remember how the Canadians enforced the end of slavery on the US; precipitating the civil war. Trump does not want the Whitehouse burnt from under him. It is entirely rational to fear the power in the North.

LOL. Appeals to gods are not valid in any case.

Much of this just plain ol rumor.

Raping Ivana was testimony in their divorce, part of official legal documents, and only retracted after she signed an NDA which said that Trump himself gets to approve and even author all public statements about himself.

The entering women's changing rooms in order to perv on them and grabbing women by the pussy are things Trump himself has said.

None of those are "rumor", so you should be able to address them.

And we know he hates people who disrespect the national anthem:

No, he's a true patriot who knows all the words, and everything:

** With underage girls in various states of undress.

Listen, trump is by any measure the most vile and despicable person to run for elected office, never mind actually be elected. This is common knowledge.

Hey there is the nazi pedophile guy, he might be worse than trump, though no idea if he comes close to having committed the same number of crimes.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has called off a visit by the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House Tuesday due to the dispute over whether NFL players must stand during the playing of the national anthem.

Trump says in a statement that some members of the Super Bowl championship team “disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart.”

Trump says the team wanted to send a smaller delegation, but fans who planned to attend “deserve better.”

He says he’ll instead be hosting “a different type of ceremony” with the U.S. Marine Band.

To be fair not putting his hand over his heart is Trumps signature move, he doesn't want them stealing it from him on the same stage.

Heart? Beacon? Build the Wall!! The US is to be admired for its values, but from a very safe distance. As for the US role in the world, please find a quote from international law. No worries; I won't hold my breath. Nice-sounding claim, though; certainly rings "true" to fantasy boys, which is all any self-proclaimed glories need do to pass muster with the willingly self-deluded.

Seems appropriate:

[blockquote] He wrote about his strategic use of dishonesty in The Art of The Deal. He admitted to routinely lying about important matters in a sworn deposition.[/blockquote]

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/5/30/17404840/trump-lies-demonstrable-falsehoods

Here’s another:

I've Watched Trump Testify Under Oath. It Isn't Pretty.

[blockquote] Hammered by White and her deputies, Trump ultimately had to admit 30 times that he had lied over the years about all sorts of stuff: how much of a big Manhattan real estate project he owned; the price of one of his golf club memberships; the size of the Trump Organization; his wealth; his speaking fees; how many condos he had sold; his debts, and whether he borrowed money from his family to avoid going personally bankrupt. He also lied during the deposition about his business dealings with career criminals.[/blockquote]

Logger, seeing as you don’t think Trump is liar, here’s a game for you: try to justify the above without using:

Lol
Hilary
Obama
Leftists
Fake news
Liberals

Just focus defending your belief that Trump is not a liar in spite of the contrary evidence.

I guess we all have our favorites.

“The crime data from these big cities contradicts President Donald Trump’s claim made in early 2017 that "the murder rate in our country is the highest it’s been in 47 years.”

“I’d say that in a speech and everybody was surprised, because the press doesn’t tell it like it is,” Trump said February 7, 2017 during a roundtable with county sheriffs. “It wasn’t to their advantage to say that. But the murder rate is the highest it’s been in, I guess, from 45 to 47 years.””

Demonstrably false. If not a lie, at the very least a blatant disregard for the truth.
