Chemtrail crankery

There's one thing that just blows my mind about chemtrail enthusiasts. Every one I've ever met (and every one I've ever heard on wacky late night radio shows) will manically rant about how the government is spritzing the atmosphere with airplanes to control the weather, and without taking a breath will slip right into how global warming is a scam by "Big Science" because there's no way human intervention could alter the climate. It's such a deep level of cognitive dissonance it probably deserves a new term.

I watched hundreds or thousands of them never do what they sometimes do today.

And I did observe the 2 unmarked white tanker types spraying below a ridgeline as I said earlier.

It's called the horizon. All aircraft will appear over it. Always. Unless they are entering the atmosphere from outer space, which is a whole other kettle of crazy.

Persistent contrails have been around since the early 40s.

What is a 'Tanker type'?
What altitude do you think they were at?

Did I say I had a camera in my hand while standing at kitchen sink doing dishes when two tankers suddenly emerged from BELOW the nearby ridgetop?

In order to comment further, I'd need to know if you were using Dawn Ultra or Palmolive to clean the dishes.

Take a poll and find out how many witnesses recall contrails spreading laterally as today and lasting long enough to be seen from horizon to horizon all day long
Never happened.

A poll? How scientific!

Contrails can last quite a while but a whole day? And why are you surprised that they run from horison to horizon?

You guys are making things up as you go. All you have is inference and paranoia.

I believe he was using the Peruvian version of Palmolive that comes with a dose of Erythroxylaceae.

Just to clear up a few things...

Newer engines often have more water in the exhaust and the high bypass engines compress more air for the combustion. Both can increase contrail persistence.
The amount of water in the exhaust is proportional to the fuel burned (plus the humidity of the incoming air), so modern, more fuel-efficient engines should have less water in the exhaust.

Yes, under the right conditions contrails can not only last the whole day, but grow and spread out.

To be fair, Bubba did say that the aircraft appeared between him and a mountain ridge in the distance. But in addition, an aircraft coming at you from hundreds of miles away will appear to come up from the horizon. There was a pretty famous case a couple of years ago when a passenger flight approaching Los Angeles from over the Pacific was leaving a contrail, which appeared to the people there like a rocket plume heading upwards.

Bubba believes in everything. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he believed in The Bogeyman.

Well no not EVERYTHING he is firmly against researching anything he believes in.

You'll note that after being intellectually pillage after putting up links to subjects he knew nothing about he is now using the 'personal experience' angle where he cannot (well he think he cannot) be questioned on it.

If they were burning the same amount of fuel. They typically are more powerful and burn more so the total amount is higher. But yes, you are correct. My statement was sloppy. I meant to say that modern engines are often more powerful and burning more fuel. IIRC they also burn it cleaner so there are less hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide and more water that way too.

Apparently it's not just fuel they're burning up there:

The fail part is towards the FB group.

The reason why there is coulor in the chemtrails? when i say this i'm not joking, i'm deadly serious they are putting sheeps blood, and human contanimated blood in the metal oxides, that are being spewed out from the planes.

That was just baaaaad! :D

I had posted:

In 2011 watched 2 totally unmarked, all white tanker size jet planes drop in below a ridge line, banking and spraying white stuff from their wings (not from engines) over a California mountain town.

I was at a kitchen window. The ridge was about 1.5 miles away. The planes emerged from just below the ridgeline. I later checked the distance as the road to town rounded the ridge.

Then this reply appeared,to my quote:

"Ridgeline"

Ridge. With trees, neighbors homes. Roughly level with ridge I was on. The 2 planes emerged at end of ridge, below the top of the ridge. A tad below level line of sight. Then they banked, dropping their wings closest to me. Close enough to see the white whatever stuff billowing out of points along trailing wing edges, not from the engines. Large not slender. Big 4 engine jets. Close enough to note lack of numbers or markings. All white.

No, they came into view from the other side of the ridge. They dropped toward the adjacent river valley and town.
