Oh, I can see clearly the daub you're painting with your fingers at preschool of science. Maybe in three years, when you are in kindergarten of science, your big picture would become a botch.

Basically what you're saying is: if you can put close related nouns adorned with bright adjectives and spice them with some figures, then you say you have a "big picture" about "the core of the things to come". What a sham!

You also weave your link baskets in a fashion you may feel you're able to make others infer your hands are full of arguments, when the only thing full is your paste buffer, and it's just links that'll become mandatory <nofollow> for search engines!

So don't deceive yourself. Why don't you get yet another username in these fora and ask yourself questions?
 
Just for ***** and giggles I clicked on one of those links - the only one even vaguely respectable, NatGeo (I did say vaguely!) - and it is simply a report about the theory that a warming planet and melting ice could lead to the theromohaline circulation shutting down and northern Europe experiencing a rapid cooling. Note to Haig: that is NOT an "ice age", if it occurred it would be rapid deterioration of regional climatic stability as a direct consequence of global warming. You know, the kind of "catastrophic" consequences the "alarmists" have been warning about for years :rolleyes:

It has exactly nothing to do with the crackpot ideas you have about a solar forced global cooling.

The coming Solar Cycle 25 will not "settle matters" - it is predicted to be weaker than Solar Cycle 24 and that is all. As pointed out years ago to you and many times since, even a Maunder Minimum, will not have a big effect on global temperatures.

This makes no damn sense for your argument. One of the more ignorant claims AGW deniers have made is that other planets within our solar system are also warming, which would mean that the Earth's warming is not related to human activity and most likely caused by increased solar activity.

The implication of the Ice Age Now article you link to is that the planets, including Earth, are actually cooling due to decreased solar activity.

Linking to a climate change denier web site is just climate science denial.

Here is the science: Liang et al. (2015) Vertical Redistribution of Oceanic Heat Content. The paper is talking about a redistribution of heat content in the deep ocean - not loss or gain of the entire ocean. They look at the roles of advection and mixing in this redistribution.
When the measured heat content of oceans is plotted it is a curve that increases: Global Ocean Heat and Salt Content

Here is a climate science denier lying about the paper's contents (Bob Tisdale) on a blog. The paper says nothing about the change in the total heat content of oceans :eye-poppi!
Notice what is missing is a graph of the heat content of the oceans (see above). And why do you trust someone as ignorant about climate science as Bob Tisdale, Haig?
