As already pointed out, the grinning smiley indicates ABC10 was joking about the phrase being Italian.

Let's be clear: she's "written" eight "books" that have sold 3 million in total, so an average of 375 thousand each. That's surprising, as I thought there were more crazies in America. I guess most of them can't read.
She's quite an odd person actually. I wonder does she still smoke? She grew up in one of the poshest of suburban towns, New Canaan Connecticut, so she's definitely NOT white trash. She's also a lifelong bachelorette (any chance she's a closet lesbian?) and once described herself as a "mean-spirited, bigoted conservative." Link
Thanks Ann.![]()
375,000 book sales in the publishing world is huge.

With all due respect, you need clarification that a comment followed by a grinning smiley indicates the poster might have been joking around?
Google book sales! For a novice writer, yes. For an established, well known "author", 375,000 is not a great showing.
I am pretty sure that "the internet" is not a real person. Ann is great.
According to Nielsen BookScan – which tracks most bookstore, online, and other retail sales of books (including Amazon.com) – only 282 million books were sold in 2009 in the U.S. in all adult nonfiction categories combined (Publishers Weekly, January 11, 2010). The average U.S. nonfiction book is now selling less than 250 copies per year and less than 3,000 copies over its lifetime. Link
I think that she's a disgusting hack, but seriously, a bunch of people photoshopping a picture of her is "hard" retaliation? Only in the kind of world where facebook likes cure diseases and stop dictators. Everywhere else, this is an idiot shouting idiocy and some kids doodling rude pictures.
You need to Google "average book sales" but she's right, that 375,000 is big. At what, thirty dollars a piece (if they're all hard cover), that's roughly eleven million dollars in sales. Less of course, if a sizable portion is paperback. Meantime the "average book sales" is an anemic 250 copies per year.
An author who can consistently sell in the hundreds of thousands is certainly considered a solid performer.

It doesn't, however, lend much legitimacy to Coulter. One could safely assume that many people read her books for her controversial opinions. Given the quotes Tricky produced, she's not a Mark Twain.![]()
Oddly, switching "the internet" and "Ann" in the above passage gives you exactly what I came here to say.
I'd pay for the opportunity, especially if they promise my gun won't have a blank. Link

I heard Ann Coulter died.
In fact, I heard she was killed in a freak accident.
My favorite Ann title is "Lay down with strippers, wake up with pleas."She's still here and as feisty as ever.
In fact she just wrote a column about how "liberals" always complain the death penalty is too expensive but that's only because of all the safeguards the same wimpy liberals always insist on. Ann's idea? Drop the safeguards and switch to an all-volunteer firing squad. She'd jump at the chance to volunteer and she bets a lot of other folks would too! That could even turn into a profit center according to Ms. Coulter.
You go girl!

Nope, that was poor Isadora Duncan, the scarf and the car wheel. So sad.
HEY! Put that back on top of Big Ben, I can barely read this thread because of lousy www reception!http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=550&pictureid=8796
It is indeed great. And it weighs nothing!
