The landing zone just happens to be inside a large crater besides a massive mountain. We will only be able to see a patch of ground, nothing along the horizon. If they do find any sign's that life is there now they probably wouldn't tell us about it anyway. I'm sure the Martian population has been forewarned to stay away from that area too.

I don't think I can nominate a text message a friend sent to me but I thought it would give you all a laugh.

I have a background in solar astronomy, as the pic under my name would suggest, so I get a lot of texts from friends regarding any and all things space related. Names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Simon666 is seemingly arguing that the Nazis could do with better fuel sources for their fires than dead bodies. It seems to escape him entirely what the reason for the fires was.

Not that CT make much sense in the first place but I find this comment remarkable in its ludicrousness.

If "they" don't want "us" to know about the Martians, why would "they" keep spending bazillions sending probes there specifically designed to discover them?
