I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted her to die. Dead women tell no tales.
As it turns out these poisons aren't nearly as dangerous if they aren't aerosols. I wouldn't recommend anyone using them as lotions, but rapid washing of contaminated areas is good enough, apparently.

It might not have been very highly concentrated. Kim was smeared on the face, so he probably got a little in through his eyes, nose and possibly mouth.

If the air movement in the building was mostly from behind the target then the sprayer would get enough to kill him/her (if that movement was fairly fast). If from behind the sprayer, target dead. If multiple direction flows all bets off........

Reports now saying that the women had the poison on their hands and rubbed it into his face. Then they immediately went into the bathroom to presumably wash it off their own hands. They knew that they were poisoning him as an assassination job. Everything they said about being innocent thinking it was another TV prank was a lie. The women were active participants in his murder and knew exactly what they were doing.

Still a hundred unanswered questions. They really took the risk of having the poison on their own bare hands? If the dude had immediately washed his face would he have survived?

If it was done as in the first para above, they likely knew what was going on/what they were paid to do.

There should also be major fines and jail time for any television show personnel arranging/doing such pranks. My preference would be double the amount they made from advertising on the show and double the salaries of the persons on the show involved in setting up the pranks as the fines!!! And from six months to 2 years in jail for them. Should stop that crap!!!
