Are you sure you've read the Bible, because Matthew 20:1-12 (all workers in the vineyard are paid the same) sounds to me as if it falls somewhere between communism and welfare.

So, God led them to found a country with institutionalized slavery. Hey, thanks, God. I would have thought that the Arbiter of all that is moral and just would have led these shining beacons of Christianity to outlaw slavery, but given that there is no Biblical evidence that God was against slavery, I am expecting too much.

Without even counting the populations (Africa, Middle East, Sub-continent, Asia, South America, Phillipines, Indonesia, Micronesia, etc etc), I would have to think that a great many of the worlds people are 'non-white'.

ETA: Why did he make so many of them?

From my trips overseas, I would also state that people from the middle east (you know, that place where jesus and his family came from) are non-white. How can jesus be brown/black skinned yet his dad doesn't want anyone marrying him or anyone like him.

Are you saying that you wouldn't let your sister marry jesus because he is not white?

And, if you think Jesus was white, I think you have been seeing to many posters that show him as a blonde haired, blue eyed European. Don't think so.

The word "phobia" (in non medical terms) simply refers to a strong or irrational fear or dislike or something, the word abomination has three main meanings, usually given as something that you find horrible, something you find shameful or an intense dislike.

So unless you want to change the common meaning of a word (something you apparently objected to when you thought male homosexuals had "hijacked" the word "gay") you are, by definition of the word, homophobic.
 
I've never understood the logic of combining the arguments that homosexuals aren't discriminated against in marriage laws, as they can marry a member of the opposite sex, with allowing gays to marry is providing special rights for gays. Surely it would be extending rights to all people in society using the logic of the first argument?

Also can someone explain how formenting rebelion against the King and home country is conservative?

Fundie 'phobes consistently define homosexuality as same sex activity to the exclusion of same sex attraction. Their claim is that a person is only homosexual if they actually engage in same sex relations. This definition is inconsistent with objective reality. It is of the utmost importance to those promoting homophobic intolerance to ignore and deny the fact that certain people are, by their very nature, attracted only or primarily to persons of their own gender.

Homosexuality is the state of being defined by same sex attraction. I have clear memories of being a homosexual virgin. It seemed to drag on forever. Yet a fundie troll will insist that a virgin can not be a homosexual. As with many other gay people, my earliest memories of sexual desire involved other persons of the same gender exclusively.

In order for Fundamentalist hate-mongers to persist in their fiction that homosexuality is a Lifestyle Choice™ it is essential for their purposes that the definition of homosexuality hinge exclusively on actions, such as making out with a hottie.

Unfortunately words do have meanings, and the definition of homosexuality clearly includes the desire for intimacy with same-sex others.

So, when arguing with a troll about homosexuality, keep in mind that they will vehemently deny the true definition of the term, and they do so for the purpose of protecting their bigotry from any potential encroachment of reality.

I've already stated why Cameron is a liar. He deliberately misrepresents the work of others and he presents ridiculously faulty statistics because they seem to support his position. Do you have enough of an understanding of statistics and surveys to understand why Cameron's claims about the lifespans of homosexuals is so unreliable? And as Hokulele already pointed out, Cameron was expelled. His protests amount to little more than "Fired? You can't fire me, I quit!".

Can you cite the sources for the other statistical claims you've made in this thread?

Catholics are just as hypocritical as all other religions.

Are you too young to remember that almost all the Churches that were around in the 40's and 30's had their key clubs and Saturday night dance and drunk. I can remember all the Sunday hung over church officials passing the basket and almost passing out.

Without a victim, homosexuality is not a crime or sin. It is victimization that determines if an action is a sin or a crime.

Homophobes need to recognize that they are the only victim and this is why they are the ones to gnash their teeth at the practice. It is they that sin by discriminating and denigrating innocent people.

Some think that these misguided people will be the ones in Hell for wrongful discrimination, not the Gays. They may be right.

Which moral tenet are you using to justify your discrimination of Gays?

The ten show what victim is being hurt by the action of ignoring the commandment. Which commandment applies to your thinking that doing the Gay thing is wrong.

Your agenda then is to bring out the liberals to defend their position. They do so quite well.

The fact that you defend your position so badly may indicate that you are just here to stir the liberal pot in defence of Gays.
This indicates that you may actually be Gay or fear becoming Gay.

If your agenda was to show that more of us are not homophobic as compared to the few who agree with your position, then you have been successful.

If you are truly believing the opinion that you preach and are not a liberal in conservative clothing, then I can only feel pity for your closed mind and poor moral position.

First of all, I doubt he considers any homosexuals "normal." He's stated that it's an abomination. Also, people like him are scared to get close to homosexuals because they secretly think it's contagious. He's afraid to catch "the gay." Such people are only good to laugh at as antiquated and silly.

Fair enough. I figured I'd give him a chance to talk to a real life homosexual and see if it changes his perceptions any. I'm sure you're not shocked to learn that he has not contacted me.

Oh well, this abomination has to keep doing overtime at his marketing job in order to save up money to buy a house, later I'll watch the football game with my alumni club, participate in a team sport and go out with a straight male friend and watch the MMA event tonight at a sports bar.

So you can see that I'm leading a life of constant perversion and fashion design just like all the scary gays.

Fornicators? We never hear about a ban on fornicator marriage, or drunk marriage, or criminals marrying. If we did, there would be a lot fewer married people.
