I never said it was ok because animals do it too. I said it wasn't "unnatural" because animals (in nature) do it too.

I guess cannibalism is a perfectly fine lifestyle choice for humans then seeing as animals engage in that particular behavior. IF homosexuality is "ok" because animals allegedly engage in that behavior then cannibalism must be as well.

Matters dealing with moderation should be discussed in Forum Management. As usual, anyone can report posts which violate the Membership Agreement. Remember, while it's ok to call intolerant bigots intolerant bigots when backed by evidence, it is not ok to call them idiots, morons, or scum. Giving alternative viewpoints a voice here is specifically called for in the MA, and as long as such members remain within the rules, they will not be actioned for their ideas.

I once heard this very argument from a Catholic priest. I couldn't help but chuckle at the irony of a man who'd taken a vow of celibacy warning of the danger of people who don't reproduce (ignoring the fact that they actually can). This is just one of the dumbest and most desperate arguments I've ever heard. It's equally likely that everyone in the world will decide to become a drummer in a rock band and the world economy will collapse because of it.

Not to mention his logic would also outlaw any act of intimacy that wasn't designed to procreate. So where's the Christian opposition to kissing?

What is the source for this statistic? Without a reliable source I can only assume that you or someone else just manufactured it.

Otherwise, there's no real moral issue to it. Most humans are bisexual, some are more straight, others more gay, there are some who are purely gay and some that are purely straight, but it's rare. There are also some people who are pretty much purely bisexual.

Lets leave this alone, it brings in a whole big semantic argument as to when someone is straight, bi or gay. As everyone seems to draw the lines differently it not even easy to work out definitions.

I also can't help but chuckle at the irony involved in XenonII's use of reproductive capability to condemn homosexuality while ignoring the fact that the "races" that he claims his god intended to remain separate are able to reproduce quite successfully.
