Why is homosexuality wrong?

What an amazingly idiotic thing to say! 90% to 95% of the population has no interest in being exclusively gay, because unlike certain other people, they never had to make a Lifestyle Choice™ to be heterosexual, they were born heterosexual.

It is only the 5% to 10% of people that actually are gay that can be expected to prefer gay sex.

I guess anybody that actually believes people choose to be gay is pre-selected as eligible to worry that everyone might spontaneously choose to be gay at the same time.

Please, keep posting. Say more about what you think. Your contribution to exposing the idiocy of Fundamentalism is greatly appreciated.

Yes. But everyone in the human species is not homosexual. And wouldn't your god take care not to make humans become extinct by filling them with the drive, desires, and knowledge to produce more heavenly spawn? Or maybe he wants them all extinct so they can begin round II in the afterlife as part of his glorious plan? That is not an argument for homosexuality being wrong. It hurts nobody. Like homosexuality, self abuse (masturbation) is a sin, but where homosexuality always involves two or more sinners, self abuse can be and often is a solitary defiant act.

Lesbianism is female homosexuality. Most scripture condemning homosexuality is not gender specific but lesbianism is mentioned specifically in Romans 1:26.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.

But for now I hope he does keep posting, it's so amusing, and the way he toes the bigot for Jesus party line is so textbook perfect. He's like the hate-monger's hate-monger, the ultimate Republican. I keep waiting for him to give us an address where we can send our prayer offerings in exchange for a complete collection of all of his holy diatribes.

So because animals engage in a particular behavior that makes it ok for humans too as well? I guess cannibalism is a perfectly fine lifestyle choice for humans then seeing as animals engage in that particular behavior. IF homosexuality is "ok" because animals allegedly engage in that behavior then cannibalism must be as well.

So? There's plenty of other sources that point to the fact that homosexuals are vastly more prone to molesting children than heterosexuals. The Catholic Church is a famous example of homosexuals running amok and satisfying their perverted lust for underage boys.
