Who's *planning* to attend TAM 7?

I'd like to, but right now have no idea what my work schedule will be.
Assuming I have a work schedule.

SHAMELESS PLUG!
Get your SSB t-shirts while they're hot! Buy some for others who will be there but are not a part of this forum! I want to fill the conference room with people showing their support for Robert Lancaster when he makes his grand entrance!

btw: there may be a heart-lifting post on the RSL Progress and News thread in the General Skepticism and the Paranormal section this evening, or perhaps tomorrow morning. (Another shameless plug, sorry.)

ShowerComic and I will be there.

In fact, it's the first of our two honeymoon trips!

Wow, there are some REALLY cool people going I see. (You know who you are) Gueee I may have to plan on attending.

I am planning on getting in a few days early, renting a car, and seeing some of the sights I haven't done yet. Anyone up for a trip to Zion National Park?

I was there last year with a lovely Brazilian girl.

Next time I go back, I will stay a few days and explore the area.

I'm planning, at this point, on arriving the week before, and spending some time sightseeing in the LA/San Diego area.

I don't live where I did before, but I still live very close to there, (very close being a couple miles) and you're still welcome to stay here if you want.

(Just a word of warning. If anyone tells you it's like a zoo at my house and you won't get any rest, they're probably telling the truth lying.)

We're new to the forum (hubby has managed to start a few heated debates already) but we're going for sure. Rooms are booked already...just waiting for the tickets to go on sale. When do they usually come out? I'm expecting to pay around $400 each, is that close to accurate?
Looking forward to it! (We're heading to Vegas in 2 weeks for a "test drive"...lol)

Once registration opens you will also be able to book rooms at the special JREF TAM rate, which will likely be lower than the price they gave you. Keep the reservations you have for now, but pay attention when everything opens up... if necessary you should be able to cancel your current res and rebook at a lower rate.

Whoops, meant to answer this one at the same time...

You should be fine budgeting $400/each for the tickets. If I remember right, last year was about $350, and there was speculation that this year could be a bit cheaper since the facility rental was less costly.

Better to budget high and come in lower than the other way around!

I'm going. And I'm super excited as my brother who attended one TAM before is also going again this year. He's the greatest, and some of you may remember him.

He's the really good looking one... for some reason HE got the blue eyes and he easily passes for up to 20 years younger than he is (yes he's my OLDER brother, no he doesnt' look it, yes HE got the good genes).

So, is he single, straight, employed, and like middle-aged Texas chicks?

I think zoo might be a bit of an understatement (or not, depending on how many two-and-a-half year olds are on premises at the time); "party central" more like...

I'd love to, but I'll have to see what the financial situation is. I should have the time off available at work but I have another trip to plan as well. If I can afford both, then great!

Definitely. I was hoping to take in the Dan Diego Zoo and the Grand Canyon at some point too.

Thank you. I will take you up on that offer.

Heh - you haven't been out to my place, clearly. :)

Hey everyone, TAM 7 is this year!

It's been "next year" for far too long...

Spawn and I will be there and I'm pushing my best girl-friend to come as well. Spawn will turn 18 on July 10 and wants to go see the Chippendale guys. *heavy panting and sweaty brows*

I can't help with the other two, but I will try to remember to get in touch with you about Zion when this gets closer.

Bring some sturdy shoes...

If there's a Zion trip in the making, I'm interested, but if you're gonna do Zion, you *totally* gotta add a day and include Bryce :)

Definitely. I was hoping to take in the Dan Diego Zoo and the Grand Canyon at some point too.

Dan Diego's zoo is pretty lame, actually. It's just a couple of chickens and a ferret he keeps in a cage in his backyard.

The San Diego Zoo is much cooler.
