Who's *planning* to attend TAM 7?

[KarlG]

Crap! I read your posts the other night and have been meaning to say I remember you, apologize for not saying hello and mention I'd seek you out at TAM 7.

Any chance a scholarship grant and some personal appeals for donations might make a difference?

Man, the shaved Hagrid comment alone deserves a donation

[Big Frankie C]

Thanks, guys, but I'm just gonna sit this one out. Scholarships and donations should be for people who have never been there. I still might make it this year, but probably not.

You kooky kids have fun.

Big Frankie, I'm sorry you can't make it, but seriously, your post made me laugh out loud on a cold rainy, Monday morning. Thank you.

I've applied and paid for a passport renewal so that I don't need to apply for a visa. My new machine-readable passport should arrive in about 10 working days.

I plan on attending this year, but then again, I planned on attending last year, right up to the point I had to travel to Toronto on business.

Looking forward to going again, after last attending in 2006.

I've discovered that if I spend about $2000 on my Visa before May 1, I'll have enough points for a free flight to TAM. Hotel and conference is about $1000 after the US conversion, so if I just pay for everything else I buy this month on Visa, I'll get there no problem. So it looks like I'll be able to afford it after all! WooHoo!

You're a busy man, just PM me your account number and I'll take care of the spending for you.

How thoughtful!

Alas, this Crown Prince of Nigeria has already offered to help, so I shan't be needing your assistance.
