In part because you go far beyond generalization, but mostly because you made such an issue of Skeptic "misrepresenting" your views. Honestly, if Demon had said exactly what you said, I very likely would either have ignored it entirely or simply stated a correction.

Because you have made such a huge issue of others misrepresenting your views, because you fail to live up to your own standards and do exactly what you’ve complained about so vocally in others, you are especially deserving of contempt.

I believe the expectation is that if you make a claim it’s up to you to back it up. Feel free to document any of those assertions of yours, then I will discuss them.

I’ll also point out for the record that the last several times I asked you to document your words it was you who ran off.

A year ago I had some respect for you. While we disagreed on much, I at least thought you were somewhat interested in discussion and were willing to consider other viewpoints. For the past six months or so, it seems as though you’ve abandoned all pretense of debating anything and have become incapable of anything more than ad homonem attacks against anyone that says anything that doesn’t fit within your world view.

What changed? Did you have a stroke? A personal tragedy? What?

1. You reject that Israel has stolen land off palestinians....is that true or a lie? do you really want me to quote all the times you have denied it is/was theft???????
2. You claim the land was either purchased or taken only because Israel was attacked (but not by the owners of the land) is that true or a lie? Do you really want me to quote all the times you have claimed the land was purchased or all the times you claimed it was because Israel was attacked??????
3. You are unable to set a limit to Israeli expansion after many requests...is that true or a lie? Do you really want me to quote all the times you have not answered that one....Hang on, how the hell can I quote what you won't do???? ....you could settle this by just telling us what the ultimate limit to Israels borders should be...(its got to be worth one more try to get an answer)



I have lost patience with you Mycroft. You watch skeptic lie and fabricate and rant racist hate and all you can do is rationalise or applaud it....I also, at one point, held you in higher regard than skeptic and Tony and other racist trash that inhabit this place....but in the end thier apologists are no better.

Yes and yes to the bolded questions. Perhaps in researching my words in context you might catch their meaning that apparently has eluded you the first several times. I’m losing track, is this the third or fourth time you’ve run away when I asked you to back up similar assertions?

To the third, you can research the three or four times I did answer that question, your assertion that I haven't is an outright lie. I don’t know what it means that you continue to repeat it again and again or have never addressed the answer when I have given it, but I’ve lost patience with this particular lie. If you don’t like my answer, say so. If you disagree, debate it, but if you continue to assert that I haven’t answered it, you’re just lying.

Then you can answer my question about if you believe you should live up to the standards you hold others to. Are you a hypocrite or not? Yes or no. If you get mad when you think Skeptic mischaracterized your words, why is it okay for you to do it?

You change the topic. We were discussing your support of AUP's idiotic statement that anyone had claimed that Arab land owners did not hold title to their land. I addressed only that specific issue, that you take it as a defense of Tony's extreme and racist statement is only another example of your dishonesty.

The fool has never been to Israel, nor has Demon or a_u_p. I feel that makes them eminently qualified as arm-chair critics but not knowledgable regarding Israeli security issues.

Perhaps their perspective would be different if they lived under constant threat of death by suicide bomber - for ten years now. I dunno. I am sure they will twist the morality and blame something else for people who knowingly and with premeditation suicide bomb innocent civilians.

The fence was built because enough was enough and something had to be done to stop the suicide bombers who didn't care if it was a pizzeria full of familes or a bus full of high school students or a university cafeteria full of people having lunch. Arab, jew, Russian, American...it doesn't matter. If you are in the wrong place at the wrong time too bad. You are dead because some guy or girl disguised themselves, strapped on a bomb vest and got on the bus. Sorry but no society should have to live like that and there is no moral equivalence to justify such an act.

Throughout the Oslo process I repeatedly asked myself if Arafat was a real partner. There always were reasons to question his credibility. Initially, he would try to deny Palestinian responsibility for terrorist attacks in Israel, even when groups like Hamas were claiming credit for those acts. To accept responsibility meant Arafat would have had to take action against Hamas or Islamic Jihad -- and he sought, he said, to divide them rather than confront them.

None of us ultimately understood that the "cause" defined Arafat; he could not live without it and the struggle that it embodied.
