If they idea is to show people that you can think and chew gum at the same time, I would say that Biden kicked her butt.
Biden did a great job. Palin needs to stop avoiding tough questions.
No, I love it. I love the way America is the best at everything in the world, and teaches all us people who aren't American the best way we can live our lives.

I thought she did well, even managed to get Biden on the defensive a couple of times (though he parried it well). I think Biden did better, but Palin did make sure all her time was spent getting her message out. The shot at the news media was probably a slip though.Palin is doing a whole lot better than people assumed she would do going into this. I honestly think that she is doing a pretty good job all in all.
That said.
If her expectations were not as low as they were, I think Biden is edging out a close debate (well maybe not that close... there is a lot of side bars to her answers) but, again, knowing the low expectations, I question how this will play out with "Joe Sixpack" (Palin's words).
Another thing... she is doing a GREAT job of dodging questions. I don't know how that will play out with viewers but she is really not going deep with any answers.
Also, I have never seen a debater look more coached. That doesn't mean she isn't making a stand on stage, that just means I can SEE the flashcards in her eyes as she is answering.
I know I'm prejudiced, but I think that most people who pay attention to the issues will realize that Biden smashed her. .

And the winner is once again the moderator.
Boring, lots of lies from both candidates. Biden did a good job calling out Palin on her hyperbole. Palin and McCain both get negative points for letting Biden and Obama portray generic business tax cuts as cuts for the oil companies.
Did anyone else notice Biden exhaling loudly through his nose into the microphone?
Palin was better than expected, but that was to be expected
But she needed to deliver a knockout punch if she hoped to change the course of the campaign, and it just didn't happened. Biden was pretty good, and she never managed to control the debate. She tried to paint herself and McCain as the real agent for Change, but I don't think it's a strategy that the electorate will buy.
I don't think there will be any change in the polls.
