TDS is a helluva drug
it’s not deranged to think he’s a crypto scammer. it’s deranged to just ignore it imo
TDS is a helluva drug
Oh, don't worry, I'm putting together a diatribe on the ultra-conservative mindset. Coming to a forum near you!not to say it's not annoying when it happens, but i don't know that you can make a long list of the times you've been insulted by both sides, then blame the rationale for that kind of behavior on the liberal progressive mindset
anyway, this doesn't just happen to you. this happens to everyone, all the time on all mediums. it's a pretty popular way people trying to win arguments

Yup. That is very typical of the Liberal Progressive mindsetI also find it interesting that, knowing nothing about me, Gulliver immediately implied that I am racist. This says more about Gulliver than about me.
It did to me.
Did you perhaps miss the word don't in the phrase "I don't like" immediately before the bit you highlighted and objected to? Here's the whole quote from Lithrael's post again:
TDS is a helluva drug
What is it they say? If the shoe fits?Yup. That is very typical of the Liberal Progressive mindset
"You don't agree with me on an aspect of the race issue? You must be a racist then!"
"You don't agree with me on an aspect of the transgenderism issue? You must be a transphobe then then!"
"You don't agree with me on an aspect of the social welfare issue? You must be a fascist then then!"
You so funny! Hardly akin to Scientology. Nobody is suppressing your opinion in any way.Its akin to Scientology. Don't buy into every part of the belief system? You must be a suppressive person.
You are talking to a dude who sees suppression of free speech around every corner. What is it they say? If the shoe fits?
It's not a question of whether you agree with me. It's a question of your support of certain people and policies. If you support Jim Crow laws, wave the Confederate Flag, make NAZI salutes, support the removal of plaques honoring African Americans, treat minorities as subhuman,
basically against civil rights, support the dehumanizing of trans individuals and are against against any kind of social welfare, I do think you're a racist, probably transphobic.
But none of those things make you a fascist. Trump is emperically a fascist. And if you are supporting Trump, you are supporting fascist policies.
What does the Bible say? "By your deeds ye shall be known"

While freely posting his speech. You are talking to a dude who sees suppression of free speech around every corner.
I know. You are talking to a dude who sees suppression of free speech around every corner.
Certainly you can understand why the phrase has become a tired and worn cliche. As well as why it is mocked for its insincerity. It reminds me so much of comments I use to hear when I lived in the Midwest. You know, like "bless his heart."Over in another thread we can see another installment of sneering at "thoughts and prayers". Which is illustrative of the liberal mindset: Champion the idea of empathy and compassion, while dismissing any expressions of empathy and compassion that don't use their own approved language. More time is spent sneering at the the compassionate expressions of others, than expressing any compassion of their own.
Two score die in a fire, and it's a news item, a hook to hang political partisan sneering on, but not human beings to be mourned in death. Even the thoughts and prayers crowd are showing more empathy and compassion.
This, then, is the liberal mindset - virtue signaling and hypocrisy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with families of the victims of the shootings. Followed up with our Sunday, Bloody Sunday, Sunday Sale. You too can purchase these semi automatic firearms.
The problem with "thoughts and prayers" is that people who express it usually do so instead of actually applying any empathy or compassion, or material help of any kind. That's virtue signalling, which is again a case of every accusation being a confession. "Thoughts and prayers" is, as we know since we are all atheists, about the least helpful thing that you can do. If you're thinking of someone and praying for them, you're doing that to make yourself feel better, not to help anybody.Over in another thread we can see another installment of sneering at "thoughts and prayers". So much for the empathy and compassion of the liberal mindset. The problem with "thoughts and prayers" is that people who express it usually do so instead of actually applying any empathy or compassion, or material help of any kind. You know nothing about me except what you've made up.So much for the empathy and compassion of the liberal mindset.
You just hand wave his points away. Your "thoughts and prayers" is meaningless when you repeatedly do nothing else. I shouldn't say nothing else. It's more like a guy that beats his wife and thinks him saying he's sorry somehow makes it all better. So much for the empathy and compassion of the liberal mindset.
You know nothing about me except what you've made up.
Prayers are futile. They are directed at a non-existent entity and accomplish nothing. "Thoughts" likewise, unless they are accompanied with a definite statement of sorrow and empathy for the victims and their families. Recognizing a much overused ant trite phrase crosses all political boundaries. Rest assured that when donations are collected to assist the victims families - an actual positive and useful action in response to the tragedy - the vast majority of funds collected will be donated by liberals.Over in another thread we can see another installment of sneering at "thoughts and prayers".
