Reminds of a scene from my childhood. It’s the mid 70’s. I’m 3 or 4, mom is a country girl in her mid 20’s. I’m fighting with my older brother as usual.I should add the hep carriers and other children with medical issues, NEVER bite. These kids have parents that have really got them on top of their own care, and safety. Even at age 3!
But for goodness sake, sometimes they get bitten! It's a safety issue. Rant over.
ME: [chomps on older brother]
BROTHER: Wahhh! Maahhhm, he bit me.
MOM: Go sit in the corner. (this was before “time-out”)
ME: [goes and sits in the corner] Wahhhh!! [as I feel mom’s teeth sink into my shoulder, not quite hard enough to break the skin.]
MOM: How do you like being bit?
ME: Waahhhhhh!![spend my time sitting in the corner.]
Later…
DAD: [Examines shoulder and sees teeth marks] Was that really necessary?
MOM: Yes.
I never bit anyone in anger again. Ever. So simple. So effective. Your mileage may vary.
