Did you mean Grenada?Or was it Granada... the independent sovereign state?

I said what I said.Did you mean Grenada?
I'm pretty sure it would have to be a fair referendum of all Danes, not just the ones in Greenland.I am not against Greenland joining the US, but only after a fair referendum in which a clear majortiy of the Native Greenlanders request it.
I don't see that happening.
Okay, that is a little bit funny.Calm down. I just thought it was funny. "Liebensraum" would mean something like "love land". I choose to interpret this as something along the lines of "desired land" I.e., Trump doesn't want Greenland for any practical purpose, but just because he's in love with the idea of having Greenland. Which seems pretty on brand for Trump.
Yes, you did. I didn't question that.I said what I said.
...The Spanish model is generally considered by foreign political scientists and scholars as "a federal system with certain peculiarities". However it is also described as a decentralised unitary country. While sovereignty is vested in the nation as a whole, represented in the central institutions of government, the nation has, to varying degrees, devolved power to the communities...
Granada, the Andalusian province in Spain, isn't an independent sovereign state? Then why is it on my list?Yes, you did. I didn't question that.
I asked if you meant Grenada, because Grenada is an independent sovereign state in the Caribbean, whereas Granada is a province of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain, or the capital city of said province. It is not an independent sovereign state.

It isn't even an autonomous community, just a mere province. The capital of the province (also Granada) is a spectacular city with the most excellent palace, the Al-Hambra. Amazing place in great condition.Granada, the Andalusian province in Spain, isn't an independent sovereign state? Then why is it on my list?
It's awesome. Going there again this year, we hope.It isn't even an autonomous community, just a mere province. The capital of the province (also Granada) is a spectacular city with the most excellent palace, the Al-Hambra. Amazing place in great condition.

Oh. Well, that doesn't change the fact that the US invaded it, then restored its sovereignty. It isn't even an autonomous community, just a mere province. The capital of the province (also Granada) is a spectacular city with the most excellent palace, the Al-Hambra. Amazing place in great condition.

That is pretty funny. Calling it Love Island to improve its appeal is very much on-brand considering the story about how it came to be called Greenland.Calm down. I just thought it was funny. When you say you can imagine it are you imagining the bit about right-wing Greenlanders wanting their country to be annexed by Trump or is that actually a thing? With a minimum amount of Trump's effort (and money) I can easily imagine the Parliament being dissolved in its current configuration, and new elections resulting in the Rightists getting the majority seats, with the stated intention of being amenable to an American takeover.
Gee. I saw the guys in the MAGA hats! It was all over social media so it must be true. When you say you can imagine it are you imagining the bit about right-wing Greenlanders wanting their country to be annexed by Trump or is that actually a thing?
To be honest I'd feel safer not introducing "Nuuk" into a conversation with Donald Trump.Reykjavik is in Iceland, not Greenland.
Already at point 1 that's incredibly unlikely.1. False flag attack on the Pituffik Space BaseWP
2. Social media push for retaliatory action.
4. US troops land in Greenland to protect Americans.
5. General cheering and support from majority of US citizens.
6. Parliamentarians in Reykjavik arrested for war crimes.
7. Puppet government established.
8. Great success declared by President for Life Trump.
9 Greenland US Territory established.
Couldn't happen?
You knew this all along? Why didn't you tell me?That was Grenada, not Granada.
Assuming you mean point 4, I should just point out that they are already there.Already at point 1 that's incredibly unlikely.
