While Masie has (occasionally) defied Trump (for example, he does not support the Iran war), usually he's a pretty solid GOP voter, voting with the president's wishes more than 9 times out of 10.

You would hope that other republican congress critters would see that being aligned with trump MOST of the time is no protection against Trump turning on them, and would react appropriately. (i.e. "what's the difference if I vote against him 10% of the time or 90% of the time if the result is the same.)
