Trump's Second Term

I don’t remember Trump campaigning on Americans needing to make sacrifices so Donald could fight wars.

Rep. Mark Alford on spiking gas prices: "I think we all know that when you have a kinetic conflict like this -- whether you want to call it a war or not -- it is going to take a little bit of sacrifice on the part of Americans"

Said the IAEA.

The statement "The U.N. nuclear watchdog's 35-nation Board of Governors declared Iran in breach of its non-proliferation obligations on Thursday for the first time in almost 20 years" dated June 12, 2025 does not contradict the claim that they were in compliance until Trump withdrew in 2018, and in fact, actually supports it.

If you measure the prices, you get inflation. So we aren't going to measure.

Trump Fed Governor Stephen Miran as oil prices spike: "We don't have an inflation problem. The inflation excess is not entirely but largely a function of measurement issues."

Can't have a COVID pandemic if you don;t count the number of people infected part deux

Where do they find these dip ◊◊◊◊◊? Who believes these dip ◊◊◊◊◊? Oh yeah, dip ◊◊◊◊◊.

@Ziggurat; from 2019 and onwards, so after Trump withdrew from the deal.
Iran's obligations under the NPT are independent of the deal Iran made with Obama. Those are actual treaty obligations (the Obama/Iran deal was not), they are decades old (and Iran was violating them decades ago), they were not created by the Obama/Iran deal, and they did not go away with Trump's withdraw from the Obama/Iran deal.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

That's only the latest example. Upthread I linked to violations going back to 2004. And you too don't seem to understand that Iran's NPT obligations are completely independent of the Obama/Iran deal.

Sure, Donal, sure. Fordow had absolutely nothing to do with weapons. Go on, pull the other one.
Really? You're falling for it again?

Iran has been breaking its various obligations for decades. That's not according to the US, that's according to the IAEA. What on earth makes you think they would have stuck to that one? They didn't.
Absolute lie. Trump himself was forced to admit they hadn't violated the terms of the agreement but instead violated "the spirit of the agreement" when he withdrew.

Said the IAEA.
That was from December 2025, 8 years after the Orange Pedo had already pulled out of the treaty. And that was just for not giving inspectors full access. That isn't evidence of an active nuclear weapons program.

Yes. Iran is a signatory to the NPT. They have failed to meet their obligations under the NPT for literally decades. For example:
Their obligations under the NPT did not depend upon their deal with the US, and did not end when we withdrew from the deal.

Israel is not a signatory to the NPT (neither are Pakistan or India). It therefore has no obligations under the NPT.
That was from May 2004, 10 years before the JCPA.

Donald's war has nothing to do with Iran getting nuclear weapons, he just wanted a war and to play with his big boy toys.
I think he was hoping for a proper war with Venezuela but never got it so Iran was next best thing.
