Trump's Second Term

Well yes, if you regarding having to meet laws and regulations to protect customers and employees as submission, which I suspect you would.
Progressives: We support reasonable restrictions on business and the power they can wield for the sake of the public good, while also supporting their right and duty to stand up to unreasonable and unlawful extortion and pressure.

Funny how "conservatives" seem to hate that.

I have no problem with business being subordinate to government. It's the second clause that causes trouble here.
Yes if you wildly misrepresent it. We are not talking about companies that have broken any law but those that are willing to undercut free speech, that thing I thought you loved, for Trump because they think they can make a few bucks out of it.

I have in my books on Germany, as I was doing history from the early modern era on. I read the 1924-1939 section on the Third Reich. I was thinking that the ideology that Trrump and Project 2025 push is a bit thin. It's just brown people and a few others are undesireable. Autistic people are undesirable. All but white Christians, really.
But then I went to look at Hitler. The ideology was a bit thin there too. Just a personality cult mainly. Hitler was a better socialist than Trump. He would he have given universal healthcare. Only...all the Jewish doctors eventually left.
You should read 'The Wages of Destruction' by Adam Tooze, which details how the Nazis screwed up the German economy.

Well one way is by not procuring US military equipment, a decision which is made easier when you look at catastrophes like the Constellation Class Frigate program. The British and Japanese would like to thank the US Navy for their lack of competence.
And the Constellation Class is basically an Italian design!

Gingrich: The country does not want to give billions to illegal immigrants, to guys who won't go to work, to people who are in fact crooks.
The country truly does not want to give billions to crooks, but Trump has been taking those billions anyway.

Leavitt: "President Trump will end the radical left's reign of terror in Portland once and for all. The president has directed Secretary Hegseth to provide all necessary troops to protect war-ravaged Portland."

I was in Portland last week. I had never before been in a war-ravaged American city. It was almost as bad as being in Nashville or Austin.

Kristi Noem’s message to the NFL for selecting Bad Bunny for the halftime show:

“The NFL sucks and we’ll win and God will bless us and we’ll stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day and they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe and they’re so weak. We’ll fix it.”

I am so happy to hear that Kristi Noem will repair my insomnia and ignorance of what I believe. If only she could fix the Dallas Cowboys.

all kinds of claims
but...nobody has seen him without his suit jacket on since the first 6 day disappearance
there IS something under the jacket.

JD posted a photo
yet other social media have Melania in New York the same evening.

Trump is getting his once a month medical treatment.
Is that supposed to be Melania on our left? Looks more like Kristi Noem. Do you think Trump can tell the difference?

What's under the jacket is a criminal, decrepit, pathetic, incompetent, rotting excuse for a human being, let alone a president.

Well not any more that's part of the problem. The intended 85% commonality with the original design is now 15% and that design still isn't finalized even though the first one is under construction.

Totally typical for US Military procurement. And for once, you can't blame it on Trump. Goes back decades, for administrations of both parties.
