You mean besides falling asleep?... was there any negative reaction by the UN Assembly to any part of his speech?

Well, there is no mechanism. Acetaminophen does not interact with neurons, for example. It has no anti-inflammatory effect.
It does interact with COX, so it is still in that category.![]()

As noted there, the mechanism related to fever is unclear.![]()

So he even lied about that, they were right at the bottom, not halfway up the escalator when it stopped.
I wonder when Trump is going to withdraw the US from UN. It seems the way he is headed, and it would fit into the script that Hitler outlined with the withdrawal of Germany from the League of Nations.
Perhaps he likes the prestige that lies in having the headquarters in the US?
Or more likely some of his allies and even a few of his advisors have asked him not to relinquish the influence and power in being part of the security council …I wonder when Trump is going to withdraw the US from UN. The problem is that the “wrong” Americans do.
Trump administration rehires hundreds of federal employees laid off by DOGE
Hundreds of federal employees who lost their jobs in Elon Musk’s cost-cutting blitz are being asked to return to work.
The General Services Administration has given the employees — who managed government workspaces — until the end of the week to accept or decline reinstatement, according to an internal memo obtained by The Associated Press. Those who accept must report for duty on Oct. 6 after what amounts to a seven-month paid vacation, during which time the GSA in some cases racked up high costs — passed along to taxpayers — to stay in dozens of properties whose leases it had slated for termination or were allowed to expire.
“Ultimately, the outcome was the agency was left broken and understaffed,” said Chad Becker, a former GSA real estate official. “They didn’t have the people they needed to carry out basic functions.”
Becker, who represents owners with government leases at Arco Real Estate Solutions, said GSA has been in a “triage mode” for months. He said the sudden reversal of the downsizing reflects how Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency had gone too far, too fast.
Indeed. From the Grauniad report, it sounds like it was a cameraman at the top of the escalator, presumably concentrating on filming what was below.I've seen reports that a member of his own staff that had gone in front knocked the emergency button. His own people were running the teleprompter too.
“A subsequent investigation, including a readout of the machine’s central processing unit, indicated that the escalator had stopped after a built-in safety mechanism on the comb step was triggered at the top of the escalator,” Stephane Dujarric, a spokesperson for UN secretary general Antonio Guterres, said in a statement.
A videographer filming the US delegation’s arrival “may have inadvertently triggered the safety function described above”, the statement continued.
NBC News projects: Democrat Adelita Grijalva wins the special election for Arizona House District 7.
Grijalva will bring the important 218th signature to the chamber's Epstein files discharge petition — forcing Mike Johnson to handle a fight that has divided his conference.
He wanted a military parade on his birthday, and got it. He went to sleep he was so bored, and it was an utter fizzer and a shambles...literally, for some Army platoons. I don't think we have heard about that since.Like everything else, it has whatever value people place on it. Clearly Trump places great value on it, hence his burning desire for one.
Perfectly reasonable. Which is why the Mango Moron would cheer if it left NYC.I fear your contrariness has led you into a foolishness here; even if -- especially if-- one hates the UN it is an advantage to have it in our territory. It's so much easier to spy on that way! Do you imagine there's anything that happens there that the US doesn't know about? That would be much more difficult if it were somewhere else. We gain information, influence, prestige (heh) by hosting it.
He will evacuate his bowels and turn himself inside out through his arse if he sees the Indian Republic Day parade. He wanted a military parade on his birthday, and got it. I, for one, would welcome our totally crap Mallakhamb overlord. He will evacuate his bowels and turn himself inside out through his arse if he sees the Indian Republic Day parade.
First, the president of the United States "can't believe" a late night TV show host is back on the air? This is a major concern of the president of the United States? Second, trump asks why ABC News gave Kimmel "his job back." ABC News made the decision? Could this get any dumber? Thirdly, did ABC actually notify the White House that Kimmel "was cancelled?" That's horrible. Why would a TV network notify the White House that a late night TV show host was being cancelled? I think we all know the answer to that but it's deplorable.I can't believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled!
Yep, let's do this again...Several people injured, killed in shooting at ICE facility.

If you don't know the motive, how do you even know it was an attack on ICE agents? Could have been an attack BY ICE agents.NOEM: "While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop," Noem said in a statement.
They clearly say they know it was violence against ICE.Yep, let's do this again...
