I am horrified at the choice the voters made in November as much as anybody. But like it or not, yhou outside the US are going to have decide how to deal with Trump, and I suggest stroking his ego and baiscally kissing his butt is not going to end well for you.
And you damn well if the pM were a Tory doing the same thing some of people defending the UK goverment's action would be loudly condeming it.

You seem to be panicking. Nobody is claiming superiority over the USA. But neither should the USA claim superiority over anywhere else. This fascism disease is the next global pandemic. Just that the USA has a particularly bad dose right now. That simple.

I for one really liked the States prior to the Dump years. Lived there from 01 to 04 as a teen, after all. Really wanted to go back as a tourist. I was shocked and dismayed when he won in 2016, and I thought we were rid of him for good in 2020. Nope.

Now? As the US grows more and more authoritarian and dysfunctional, I've got no desire to go back. They've got a long laundry list of things they'll have to fix with their country before I even consider returning.

Oh, and spare me the "but u euros have had fascism too" BS. Yeah, we have, and that's why we're absolutely terrified of what's going on in the States right now, and why we've been warning you for eight years straight. Trying to use the fact that we know all too well what we're talking about as some kind of gotcha is just weird.

That was definitely a kick in the pants, but I used it as a gateway in my new novel as to why AmyStrange (the talking Cat) has to meet the fat clown (because Obama met her) after he wins in that year (2016).

Amy is not known for beating around the bush, and I had a ball writing the dialogue between her and the fat clown, which BTW, ended up with him ordering the secret service to shoot her.

I wouldn't doubt it one bit if the maga weirdoes tried to get it banned, but anyway, sorry for interrupting this awesome thread with my blatant self-promotion, but thanks for reading.

(Presumably, meaning all the Venezuelans in US jails and mental institutions, but who knows? This is an administration that communicates via social media posts on Truth Social.)

Also, would it be both wars at the same time? One after the other? I guess we'll find out.
