Trump's Second Term

He's gonna try and deport her, isn't he?

No, Donnie. Her first husband wasn't her brother, and she married him three years after she became a U.S. citizen. What the ◊◊◊◊ is wrong with you? Don't you, or the ass-kisser who ◊◊◊◊ out that post for you, know how to use the internet?

Anyone who makes an anti fascist statement could be considered Antifa.
Anyone who fails to pay appropriate respect to Trump and the new saint Charlie Kirk is also considered Antifa. Not wearing a red MAGA hat is also a giveaway. Anyone who doesn't burn incense to the imperial cult...oh wait, that was ancient Rome. We have a few more months before Trump gets that far. But he's on the way!

What I find the most infuriating about this is the lack of pushback by the news organizations over such clearly illegal actions.
Sorta brings back the observation that most of the news organizations are not independent. Rather, they're controlled by massive corporations with very distinct conflicts of interest at hand.

He won by a landslide so criticism is illegal.

Trump: "When you have networks where I won an election in counties -- I guess it's 2,600 to 525, that's called a landslide times two -- when you have that kind of popularity or voter support, and yet 97% of the newscasts are against me ... I think that's really illegal."

Trump knows only how to post on Trothe Sential. That's all the "internet" he sees and knows. As for any Democrats, all he knows is what Stephen Miller tells him. And Miller is an unapologetic, unreconstructed, Grade-A, tuberculin-free, grass-fed, full-on racist arsehole.

No, Donnie. It is not illegal. It's all there in the Constitution. Yep, that thing you swore an oath to uphold when you were inaugurated. Remember that? No? Well, you did. No, really, you DID! You can't remember? It was only 8 months ago... You still can't? Oh dear, well that's a pity because everyone else does. Listen, can you tell me your wife's name? Man, woman, camera, TV... O...K...

Look, I really think that now you should go back to eating your KFC bucket, buddy, and leave the presidenting to your aides. OK? Or have another nap. Either is good! Off you toddle!

Statistics continue to be mean to poor Trumplethinskin. His approval rating just took another dip, according to The Economist:
The president's net approval rating is -17%,
down 2.6 points since last week.
39% approve, 56% disapprove, 4% not sure

Just as I thought it was going to level out.

Really? I would think that Moghuls like Hearst would have by now sowed some cynicism about what News organizations are actually about. In a way I think the internet is picking up the slack-Meidas Touch, Damage Report at least some of the correspondents at YTN, and a few other independent commentators provide pretty good coverage.

Wait! Wut?

There are different sorts of knots for ties?

Bugger me! I thought there was only one, like I was forced to do for school.

Not even sure I could do that one now.

And they have names?

Some folk have far too much time on their hands, clearly.
You’re a Brit with no idea of class?

Oh well, a lesson for you. Anything less than a half Windsor on a gentleman’s neck is uncouth at the very least, and an invitation to a fist fight if the public school half Windsor wearer is rightfully aggrieved……. 😊

More seriously, I learnt the school tie method, but when starting work, noticed that other, more upwardly mobile males, had neater ties. I then learnt the half Windsor.

Tip for tie wearers. The full Windsor is unnecessary and a certain sign the wearer is a wanker.

I posted this in another thread, but I think it's relevant here also (if not more so):

The amazing thing about the Trump presidency is that such a flawed president as LBJ is rightly seen as superior in every was to Trump.
