The Alcatraz suggestion just shows how obssesed Trump is with Optics.
US already has a couple of 'BAd Boy" prisons, the one in Colorado being the strictest, which could be easily and cheaply enlarged, if necessary.
But it has never had movies made about it, and I guess that is what counts in Trump's eyes.
IMHO the reopening of Alcatraz will not happen; it is not getting good reviews from anyboyd.

David in Spanish is just David. James in Spanish (for reasons that I'm told are obscure) either Diego or Jaime. So if you're going backwards from Diego to English, I think you'd want James.

That does make sense. Diego, Iago, then with Latin's I/J thing, James. I guess I always just saw the D and leapt on it.

It's like explaining that the Jacobean Period refers to King James. But in Latin there is still sometimes the distinction between Iacobus and Iacomus. Maybe if you don't change the city name back to the original יעקב קדוש you'll be deported as an anti-Semite.

If I were a mischievous city recorder in Florida, I'd change the name of Trump's property to Sea-at-Lake.

If Trump had any sort of intelligence or ability to plan, I might think the retaliation is the point.

Trump probably despises the Hollywood "elite" since they tend to support the Democrats. What better way to get back at them than to start a trade war over movies that causes the movie industry to suffer (and, I assume, actors to earn less money)
