Don't worry. Trump will "save" the US money again on prison matters, just like last time. If it takes building a fancy underwater prison addition where you can watch the fish swim by the cells while laying down for only 50x the cost of running the prison before, with gifts of thanks from all the grateful guards to him, personally, that's a price that he's willing to have you pay.

Similarly, Republicans respond strongly to complaints about gratuitously indulgent consumption on the part of the uber-wealthy by telling us that these people have an unfettered right to enjoy the fruits of their labor. If you want to have a 75-room mansion with solid gold toilets and a private spaceship hangar, then you should just work as hard as Jeff Bezos does. But now, to excuse their mismanagement and pillaging of the American economy, they tell us that if little Sally wants more than one dolly, she's being a selfish, spoiled brat.

Odd that Alcatraz has moved to somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It must be a floating island. Maybe they should put a motor on it and send it to the China sea.

REbuilding Alcatraz is bound to save some money. Not ours of course, but someone's. And it won't cost much of anything if you just throw the prisoners in there and leave them to die. I mean, they're never getting out, so who cares? The administration could even make some extra money selling videos to their base, of the people they despise in agony and pain. It's what they apparently love to see. Get the premium gold set and they'll throw in the families crying on the shore.

Trump wants a 100% Tariff on movies produced outside the US.
No other details, if this includes American studio movies filmed outside the US.
Trump said it is to save dying Hollywood, but the studio sseem not to agree; they are in a panic about what this would do to the all important internatonal film revenus, since other countries would retaliated.
There are aslo first amendment issues invovled.
If there is any cleare indicaton that Trump wants to e a tyrant, thsi is it.
 
How many things can the king try to tariff before somebody stops him? This is literally why we had the Revolution, so one person couldn't do this sort of thing without restraint.
