Last I heard, the Resolute Desk had been removed from the White House last month to be "lightly refinished", which I assumed meant Trump was having tacky gold plate added.

Well, some of them, including Trump, will indeed use the "Biden economy" line rather than acknowledge Trump's responsibility for the chaos. But also, some of them (including Trump) will acknowledge his responsibility but avoid the reality of the damage by taking the line that it's just "a little bit of pain" that's unavoidable as part of some master plan he has to MAGA! (And the "Biden gave us a horrible economy" thing is essentially a non-sequitur anyway. No matter how bad the economy was that Biden handed over- and it wasn't as bad as the Trumpers like to pretend- it had nothing to do with the Trump tariffs which are the immediate and obvious cause of the chaos)

The (un)funny thing about all this is that most of the MAGA-fans who root him on no matter what probably don't have any clear idea of what MAGA! even means- it's a slogan, like "woke," something that has no more actual definition than to be either a fuzzy dragon to slay or an equally fuzzy princess to save.
