Way behind in the thread as usual, but he's been reversing himself almost daily on tariffs, why should Ukraine be any different? He'll be calling for sanctions on Ukraine by next week.
 
There's still the part about getting the orcs to agree to a ceasefire.

Remember, on top of denying they're targeting civilian infrastructure, the orcs deny they're in a war in first place.

The delay and intelligence blackout has let Russia push Ukraine out of the Kursk oblast. Now he can resume things with a "see I fixed it, what's the problem?!" and avoid any further pressure.
 
Didn't notice the post a few pages ago about FiveThirtyEight shutting down. I'm going to miss it, it was my go-to site for polling aggregate data.
Then again, who needs it when reality is whatever Big Brother says it is. "Dump's popularity rose to 194% yesterday, go MAGA!!"

I wonder just how stupid the listener has to be not to see this as transparently wrong. Were we all fretting for our retirement accounts in December? Were we all in a panic over whether we'd have jobs back then? Literally as soon as Donald Trump starts making erratic decisions, the market tanks and the economy goes into panic mode. And every Trump voter should know this, because Trump was crowing about how he was responsible for the good times at the end of 2024 because everyone was supposedly anticipating that Trump would be elected.

Some are claiming it's his insurance against being Luigied. But that doesn't work so well when it's in the Oval Office. I don't think Elon Musk is in any real danger standing next to the Resolute Desk. Here, however, he's out in the open. What a doting father...

I no longer underestimate the credulity and willful ignorance of the maga cult. My retirement took a huge hit during the first Trump debacle, but eventually recovered after he left office. Now, the ◊◊◊◊ wit is doing it again.
