Ugh, yeah I am in touch with my old coworkers, it is nuts. I almost took my old job back with them last year, glad I did not I would have been first on the chopping block.

I'm not sure what to think of the recent stream of advertising online for "Government jobs - available now!"

I'm really worried about the upcoming hurricane season, which is likely to be worse than ever thanks to climate change.

My disdain for Gretzky started long before Trump. He was great at hockey but that's where his greatness ends. He is a Canadian by happenstance only and long ago abandoned this country for the US. As far as I'm concerned, he can stay there.

IMHO it's to do with the budget and tax cuts. There is no way the deficit can be reduced enough to fund the tax cuts. Tariffs are Trump's magic money tree. Canada and Mexico will balance the budget. That's how stupid he is.
 
We are almost to the point where Trump is going to ignore court orders. If you impeach him, who will remove him?

If we have a 2028 election, states count votes and all, and someone not Trump wins, then what? Who is going to enforce that?

For osme reason Trump and Musk seem to really hate science. From Donnie I expect no better, but Musk surprised me.
People are going to die because of Musk Move Fast, Rip things apart and then rebuild apporach.

There's a whole lot of reasons why they retired in the first place. And now that the new MAGA dimwit department head ninny has decided that all the ATC software needs to be updated and converted to run on commercial PCs by the moronic Traitor Tots, and the above proposition that they would be probationary and thus easily disposed of, there's even less reason for them to return to work. Some will, though, I expect.
