I guess we have to make sure it was all Pres. Biden's fault and didn't have anything to do with the terms negotiated by Pres. Trump. I hope they dig up the clip of outgoing Trump bragging to the effect that he was the one who had accomplished the task of getting the troops out of Afghanistan so quickly, and that he'd made it so that there was nothing Joe Biden could do to undo it.
 
Why bother investigating anything? Trump can just sign an executive order declaring what happened. It was all the fault of transgenderism and, let's say, the whooping cough vaccine. There, what a cost savings in investigation right there!

Of all the things that he promised to do, many of them on "day one," declassifying all the classified documents should have been feasible.
It was clear that he wasn't too keen on making the Epstein files public, but it doesn't seem to be happening at all.
Maybe they're busy redacting the names of Republicans ...

Sadly, I think that is how most of them rationalize it. They claim that Trump is some form of second coming, that he is their savior sent to earth by God. So all the sick weirdness is fine, since it is sanctified. Same way the apologetics brush off all the rape, murder etc that God commanded--so long as it is 'God' that does horrific things, everything is okey dokey...
 
This is my short summary of the DOGE effort: If you were serious about cutting waste and fraud, you would not fire the Inspectors General right out of the gate. You would not stop food projects and leave food rotting in warehouses. You would not stop clinical trials that have already begun (to do so is worse than building 50% of a bridge). You would not send out an email to 2 million or so people to waste their time writing bullet points that no human will read or could sensibly evaluate. You would not hire programmers; instead you would hire forensic accountants. You would pay for work that is already completed. If you found evidence fraud, you would not make accusations over X; you would prove them in a courtroom.
