Trump's Second Term

Congressman Andy Ogles has introduced a House Joint Resolution to amend the Constitution of the United States to allow a President to be elected for up to but no more than three terms.
But they could only run for a third term if their first 2 terms were non-consecutive (so that Obama and Clinton would not be able to run again).

Trump: "We don't want windmills in this country. We're putting an order on it. I've already sort of done it. We don't want windmills ... you know what else people don't like? Those massive solar fields."

Just more evidence that Donnie Diapers isn't just the most corrupt president ever, but the dumbest.

Which people don't like massive solar fields?

And "windmills" again? They aren't milling grain. They are wind generators, making good, clean electricity cheaply and easily.

But yeah, we know. Dead birds and whales, yadda yadda yadda.

"Y'know, those windmills and solar farms... sure would be a shame if something were, y'know, to, uh, happen to them..."

We spent a fair amount putting solar panels all over our roof, and installing a battery system too, all legally. We will never have to pay an electric bill again, at our current rate of consumption. Is Donnie proposing to make us take it all down?

Under German law, since my grandparents repudiated their German citizenship and became US citizens BEFORE my grandmother was born, I don't qualify for German citizenship through birthright.

I think my husband may object to my marrying a foreigner...or anyone! Or maybe not.....;)

Becoming a citizen of another country generally takes longer than the 4 years Der Trumpenfuhrer will be in office.

About 60-90 days, for a Vanuatu investment passport.

It's your patriotic duty to help the utility company's shareholders make money.

Absolutely! Don't be a Democrat commie cuck!

I'm partly with Trump on this one. I am totally for appropriately placed windmill farms and most definitely for solar initiatives and getting solar panels on as many homes as possible. But just in my home state, I've watched them completely trash a large swath of one of the last areas of native grasslands by building a humongous swath of windmills right over it (and yes, killing lots of birds) and Ive also seen a big $ company attempt to cover a huge area adjacent to my favorite national park with solar panels. Fortunately their efforts were thwarted. Green energy is not always that green.

More accurately, birds that nested on the tops were eventually found dead on the ground beneath them of old age.

The only way to reduce damaging climate change is to use less fossil fuel, and it seems the only to persuade many people to use less fossil fuel is to increase its price. So ... yes? Though that obviously isn't the motivation.
I thought the whole MAGA and Trump motivational story was that by extracting it locally, oil and its derivatives could become so cheap that everyone could drive their sooty, greasy American diesel Humvees everywhere they liked all the time. That's what they voted for. Not some commie notion of making fuel so expensive that they will be financially forced to switch to some cheaper cuck EV.

So it appears the basis of these MAGA voting decisions was entirely opposite to reality. Local oil production makes their fuel more expensive, while EVs get cheaper. Also, fuel becomes scarcer initially. Definitely not what they were promised by King Felonious.

Every person doing work with NIH federal funding got a message today. I saw it. Essentially:
"Trump's cabinet head will need to reviews your every paper and other presentation."

Two days in and chaos in…cancer research? 👎

No choice but to let the next pandemic happen in the USA. Glad they cancelled travel. Keep your contagion to yourself, America.
