The less "help" America provides to Ukraine, the better Ukraine is doing. America has a long history of military failures, and the latest is in Iran. MAGA has revealed just how weak the USA has become. Europe is definitely better off ditching the USA as a security partner, as it cannot be trusted.

Does the fallacy here really need pointed out? The funding, equipment, ammunition, and intelligence provided by the US under Biden helped Ukraine immensely. Europe's ability to help was far less, especially at the beginning, and Ukraine then certainly did not have the capabilities or far less overwhelming opponent that it has now.

Trump and his Administration's betrayal of the US, Ukraine, and NATO and their efforts to screw over Ukraine certainly are worthy of anger, scorn, and insult, but that does not excuse attempting to rewrite history in dishonest ways.

Ok, does anyone else recognize how tone-deaf this is?

At a time when Americans are facing significant financial hardship (high gas prices and rising inflation), sticking the word "gold" with "white house" is bound to rub a few people the wrong way. Granted the hard-core MAGAchud might not care but swing voters might.

Slightly more seriously and without more specific information, there are a number of possibilities that could lead to a claim like that. Lies and dishonesty are a nigh certainty, though. Checking someone else with the same name is possible, sure, but it's quite implausible because of the various security measures in place. Clerical errors happen, of course, so it's certainly not completely impossible. Going further, voting records do not include who one voted for, just whether one voted. Ballots are officially supposed to be secret, after all, and any action to remove that secrecy opens up those who do so to serious legal action.

Even if one ignores the extreme implausibility of the claim and focuses on the scenario claimed, the most likely causes for that actually happening rely on the irresponsibility of the person in question and the person keeping a very problematic person or person next to her who would fill in a mail-in ballot for them without the person verifying. That's not something that election reforms is likely to be able to fix in any way that actually increases election integrity.

Election reforms might not be a bad thing, of course, but those pushing for reforms here clearly have ill intentions.

Tone-deaf like "I don't care about economic situation of the American people!" "Sacrifice your grandparents so I can put a few more dollars into my pocket!" and the like?
