I don't know what I'm supposed to disbelieve. I see some industrial-looking control panels; a '90s-era version with dependable physical pushbuttons and what I presume is the replacement which brings all the benefits and problems of a touchscreen instead.

Maybe the youngsters are supposed to disbelieve the new panel still has an antique telephone handset in its cradle on the right.
