Trump, Man of Science?

Depends on how well the pots turn out. If you spend 100 hours on pots, and all you got are crappy pots, I wouldn't call that wisdom.
How will the pots turn out of the man who read 100 books on pottery?

He will definitely carry Michigan. He is the "perceived" underdog. Michigan and Wisconsin are his, lock, stock and barrel.

I'll keep you in suspense. I honestly don't think you'll be worrying about my opinions Nov. 9th. Most of you will have some serious problems of your own. Prepare for a paradigm shift.

It is odd, some of you try persuasion techniques, such as suggesting future outcomes. Perhaps some of you spent some time in retail,or sale, but really, you are going to have to catch me a little earlier in the morning to trick me with that one, and it is 6:00 AM here in Seattle.

And the media has been saying it the whole time. There was never a time when the media has said Trump might win, yet he keeps winning. There are techniques to train yourself with energy. Women get you nervous? What if you could turn that nervousness to an outflowing & inviting energy? Everybody in the world seems to hate you, wants to see you fail? What if you could turn that energy into encouragement to succeed? Imagine if this was Trumps plan all along? He received the negative energy of every pundit, comic, Hollywood star, and establishment politician in the world, and look where he is now.

To the people who see Trump as a fascist, they are clearly under a group illusion. There is no proof he is a fascist, because he has not got into office yet. On the apprentice, his fascistic qualities must have been difficult to observe to make any kind of scientific judgement. Nobody ever noticed he was the Next Hitler the whole eight seasons he was on air. In fact, charges of racism and misogyny were curiously absent most of his life. Maybe he became that once he started running for President. Maybe running for president got to his head, and his personality changed. Or maybe it is a group hallucination, caused by suggestions of people trained in the arts of persuasion.
No, running for President did not change his personality. The Apprentice was a marginally successful series. No body cared enough about the host to really dig into his past.

And the media has been saying it the whole time. There was never a time when the media has said Trump might win.

Well apart from July and September, when Clinton was way down in the polls and the media were discussing how Trump could win. Heck right now I can point you to articles that discuss how Trump might still win, like this one:

http://fivethirtyeight.com/features...-these-5-articles-the-day-after-the-election/

So I guess,, much like Trump facts aren't your thing?

Thats because he was running against other morons, and only morons were voting in the republican primaries.

As it turns out, there were more morons than we anticipated on the right.

This is now the General Election, where the rest of us get our voice.

Do you know the difference between wisdom and intelligence?

Intelligence is reading 100 books on pottery.
Wisdom is spending 100 hours making pots.

Trump brings neither to the table. Trump pissed in a pot once, kicked it over and then blamed it for making a mess on the rug. Then stiffed the carpet cleaning company.

Meanwhile Hillary took an MFA in pottery and spent the last 40 years cranking out pots, mugs, plates and vases.

Like the moronic Berners. They'll get their voice too. Wonder how they are feeling right now... hmmm... feeling...

But feelings. How did people feel about him. Did they forget those feelings, when told he is the Next Hitler?

I just don't think most folks here are as sensitive as they sholud be. Perhaps not enough crystals around the house, or perhaps you find feelings irrelevant.

Well, you're conversing with one.

I'm going with Hillary because she's thankfully adopted many of Bernie's policies.

Feelings? Most people felt he was a jerk long before he ran for president. And his run for president has confirmed those feelings.

Do not confuse being able to attract attention with being liked.

What happens if Trump wins the vote, but the liberal mainstream media simply reports that Hillary won? She still becomes president, right?

There would be no way for me, poor little man on the ground that I am, to know the difference. All they have to do is coordinate scripts - which presumably they are doing already with talking points - and just report whatever result they want.

(Cue scary music...)

I will not be surprised if he takes all 50 states.

I'm all for a little contrarianism but this is just silly.

Mostly because there are still things coming down the pipeline.

As far as a Trump landslide is concerned they'd better come pretty flipping wuickly.

As Scott Adams has noted in other blogs, wikileaks will barely dent Clinton, even though there are multiple, massive foreign bribery scandals proven within them. Why? Important in a court of law, boring to an election, and too complicated.

[my highlighting]I must have missed those. I mean there were plenty of allegations but nothing that would constitute proof (in any conventional sense of the word).

However, there is rumor of undercover tape of her, you know, berating a black person, in a harsh way, shall we say. I think it's real.
If that tape does not materialize, Trump still wins by massive margin. In numbers it will be amazing, electoral college, well, might be a constitutional crisis.

It's the first I have heard of such rumours.

Have you read the article? Most here, and on people's now Trump friend free facebooks, are thinking it may be close, but Hillary will come out, maybe 290 - 320 EV's. They are in a reality bubble now. The guy who secretly likes Trump they work with never really says anything, or, as Scott Adams says, will say he is voting Gary Johnson, because it is safe. Furthermore, they are thinking this is just another election. It clearly is not. No election has ever been anything like this.

Yes I have read it and it is 4 months out of date. A lot of electoral water has flowed under the bridge, specifically Trump claiming to be a sexual predator and all that has flowed from that.

Even if everyone who claimed to be voting for Johnson voted for Trump, Hillary would still carry a few states by quite big margins.

there is going to be a rigged call in Broward County, Florida, and maybe issues in the three cities Trump mentions, although his mention of a 400 lb hacker, later known to mean Kim Dotcom, means he has foresight and plans as well as charisma

It's likely that Trump will make all kinds of allegations regarding election rigging before, during and after the election. So far his allegations have lacked any kind of factual basis.

Funny about the pottery question, people thought I was leading into a discussion about Clinton and Trump... ..who is more wise or intelligent or whatever. I wasn't, but it has become one of those irrational vectors that display the wonders of human understanding.
So now, it is going to be an experiment. Lets see if anybody can accurately predict teh track and conversation I had in mind when I asked about the books and pottery.

Oh boy, the more I write, the more fun this sounds.

8 or 9 seasons says most people that knew anything about him (I dont watch television, so I hardly knew who he was. In fact, I first met Trump at Debate 2 of the General), did not mind seeing him come back into their living rooms the next year.

Do not confuse being able to attract attention with being liked.

Are you trying to tell me how to think, or trying to tell me what I was thinking?

I'll just leave this here:

http://www.boston.com/news/national...staff-included-drug-trafficker-child-molester
Half the 68 former faculty and staff identified by AP had personal bankruptcies, foreclosures, credit card defaults, tax liens or other indicators of significant money troubles prior to teaching Trump University courses promoting “wealth building” and “how to invest like a billionaire,” according to AP’s review. Many of those hired to teach did not have college degrees and were not licensed to broker real estate.

At least four had been convicted of felonies.

They include Ron P. Broussard Jr., who was hired to the Trump University staff in 2007 after years serving as a motivational speaker at get-rich-quick seminars taught in hotel conference rooms. Broussard is listed as “staff” or “coordinator” for at least five Trump courses.

Records show the former Army sergeant was convicted at court-martial in 1994 of sodomy and indecent acts with a child. He served five years in the military prison at Leavenworth, Kansas.

Broussard, who now lives in Duluth, Georgia, is a registered sex offender. He told AP that his conviction involved the 8-year-old daughter of a fellow soldier.

That's science!

What would happen if Hillary won the Electoral College, but Trump said he won, and the military, police, and vast majority of the populace agreed with him? then what the media said would be irrelevant, wouldn't it?

But, anyways, to really answer your question, the states certify the election, so the media does not call the vote. Though they certainly try.

Are you trying to tell me how to think, or trying to tell me what I was thinking?

You are an important individual and there are people who enjoy your company.

Thought you should know that, as your posts here are coming off as slightly self-centered and insecure.
