This is my favorite thread on JREF. It backfired so wonderfully and Horatius' post with the patent info totally made my day.

French demolitions

I wonder how much steel work there was in the French buildings shown being demolished. Anybody see any? Or could they have been built a la Ronan Point in the L.P.S method? In which case gravity would do the job.

Without going back through all of them, they seem to be mostly of standard RC construction. The point is, of course, that Heiwa's bilgesque theories make no allowances for construction method. It's just "impossible", according to him. Period.

Have you seen the thread that A.P. made that was moved to AAH? A.P. was caught red handed with two accounts here, as well as some very embarassing info having to do with the second account, as well as the multiple myspace pages and accounts. A very sad individual. I almost feel sorry for this person-almost.
