Might as well post this here, since no one else could go anyway:
I went to a new Dali museum in Fukushima today. It's the third biggest Dali collection on display in the world, the only others being the Dali-designed museum in Figueras (with his grave I believe), and arguably the best collection, in Florida.
It's great. Get this--dozens of paintings and about 40 sculptures . All great (the sculptures, I mean). A lot of lithographs, but the oil paintings and gouache stuff was cool, too. They also had his sketch-portraits of other painters: Picasso, Chagall, and a bunch he'd never met like Van Gogh (dripping bloody ear, of course), and Toulouse-Lautrec.
Next time you go skiing at Bandai.--I guess that's what people do...
