This Week in Chinese News

Actually, Yinyin, I've done my very best to state the basis of my opinions, and the sources of my information.
And most of your basis about what you have done and where you have been living, true or not, has little to do with judging the "overall situation of China". It simply did not explain how you get the "overall" opinion.
Most of the Chinese themselves can not get a overall picture but you as a foreigner did, don't you think it is odd?

You absolutely refuse to do so.
I just don't think it is useful, how can you trust what people say that you can not prove?

If you really want to know me, you can go to my website with the link given in the signature
box. You can see I have done extensive study of Chinese history, politics and more.

Yinyinwang,
There are dozens (nay, hundreds) of posts from The Wolfman here indicating his personal history in China - in business, in his non-profit work, and in his dealings - yes - with the dreaded government. He's rather an open book for anyone with even moderate googling skills.
I've met the man, personally, and if he's a government agent, I'm Gandhi.

You, on the other hand, are an anonymous poster on the internet who offers nothing in support of your opinions other than the fact that, well, they are your opinions, and thus someone's supposed to believe you. Support your position with some background or facts. Otherwise you're nothing more than a troll.

I know of several KMT operatives who made their way to Russia via Mongolia in the 80s. From everything you post here, you could well be one of them.
(See how that works?)

So you and he himself are the proof of his identity and you you seem forgot to prove who are you.

You don't think agents are all on their own, do you?

I don't think anyone has proven identity here posting, so stop trying to give the impression that you can prove someone's identity, that just make things more suspicious.

This really tells me how you work. nonsense.

Surely you can see the irony and absurdity of this post? You did notice that you've just accused two waigworen business types with deep affections for China of being agents for the Chinese government just because you don't agree with us. We have another buddy over here who's teaching. I'm sure he's an agent, too. Hell, everyone's an agent, I guess.... Yourself included, and I'm sticking with that as long as you maintain this ridiculous position.

The fact that you print blatantly untrue "facts" about China -- " China has the world only and biggest national internet firewall" -- reveals not only a definite bias, but a willingness to either deliberately lie/exaggerate to support your opinion, or else to ignore any facts that contradict what you say.
My statement is not "blatantly" or "grossly" untrue, I said "only and biggest", now maybe the "only" does not stand due to new followers in this direction, but the "biggest" still stand.
And you are trying to exaggerate a factual correction into a total lie of my statement, that may explain how you got your "overall" opinions.

Sorry I don't know who you are.
I am suspicious not because you did not agree with me and there are a lot posters here who did not agree with me and I never suspicious of them.
I am suspicious of you because of what you are trying to sell and how you behave.

Want to get away with bluffing, try again.

That is why I am suspicious.

Nope. This is why you're paranoid. Do you not comprehend what's in front of you? I was referring to the stupidity of your own posts accusing everyone of being agents and the strange juxtoposition that when I, with blatant sarcasm, accused you of being an agent,... you leapt to yet another "proof" that I was an agent.

You're paranoia is getting the better of you.

We're still asking for your credentials - even stated credentials, e.g. you can just tell us - we don't need documented proof or want to out you so that the secret police can come 'round later.

Who are you, generally - not specifically, where are you from, where have you lived, what is your particular experience, why should we believe a word you say? Anyone can choose a Chinese name and post on the internet. Thus far, that's all we have to go by - an anonymous person who will not back up his/her rantings with anything other than, "Well, because I said so!"

As I have pointed out, your basis is too shaky to support your claims.
Ummm...actually, I have 100% facts to support the basis of my argument that you lied about internet censorship in China. I have people here in JREF who've personally met with me in China, who can attest to my experience here.

On the other hand, we have no basis whatsoever for any claims that you've made. And you are, quite obviously, completely unwilling to give us any basis for those claims.

In summary -- my claims have at least some basis, that of forum members who can verify my experience, and that of plain commonly available facts that show some of your own statements to be completely erroneous. If that minimal basis is not enough to support my claims, then that means that you have no basis whatsoever to support anything you've said at all.

BTW -- as I have nothing to hide, and in order to support the claims I've made, here are links to two websites:

www.newleaders.com.cn -- New Leaders is a consulting company that I established with a Taiwanese partner, and in which I have worked as a cross cultural consultant to both foreign and Chinese companies for over 8 years.

www.mosuoproject.org -- The Lugu Lake Mosuo Cultural Development Association is a non-profit organization I founded in January of 2006; it works with a Chinese minority group who lives in one of the most remote regions of China.

Now, again -- besides your evasions, and your untruths about the "facts" of China -- on what basis do you make your claims here?

I see only evasion and deception in your responses. Curiously enough, while I am the guy who is supposedly being dishonest, and working for the government, I've been 100% open about my position and experience. Many of my statements can be confirmed by other JREF members who have visited me in China, or who are themselves living in China. But you, who supposedly knows "the truth", and who seeks to "educate" people about the "real China", don't even have the guts to tell anyone what your personal experience within China is, and upon what personal experience you base your own opinions and "facts".
I am not trying to "educate" anyone but I can tell you are trying something similar.
I just don't believe what you said no matter it is your opinion or your experience.

I am accusing of every one? You two are "every one"? come on you can do better than that.
You may get paid for your work here and this is just wast of money and time.

Sorry I don't know who you are.
I am suspicious not because you did not agree with me and there are a lot posters here who did not agree with me and I never suspicious of them.
I am suspicious of you because of what you are trying to sell and how you behave.

You really are divorced from reality, aren't you? You're suspicious of us because we would dare to disagree with you on what you profess to be an expert on - the government and culture in China. And we keep asking you to give us anything other than your insistant repetition that would let us believe that.

I'm visible. That's my pic. I'm in Hong Kong. That's my location. I'm in logistics. That's my profession. Those are facts and they are facts because until proven otherwise, we accept these things from people. You have stated nothing, other than choosing a Chinese name(and stating it backwards like a westerner would instead of Wang Yin Yin as a Chinese would). Hmm? Very suspicious.

Well, I'm off to bed. For those of us REALLY in Asia, it's almost 01:00 in the morning, and I have to get up early to meet my contacts from the People's Army so we can clamp down on some dissidents tomorrow.

Besides, I see Comrade Wolfman is back, and he normally takes the night desk, here. Ya see it's a very important post - manning the disinformation sector at a forum with a whopping 3000 regular posters. We have to make sure one of us is here at all times to prevent beacons of truth and light like yourself from exposing the evils of The Party.

well, if you can read, I have already done that.
The secret police know me well and I guess they know how to find me.
