The Truth about RFK Jr

Jonathan Howard really enjoys criticizing "our medical establishment" nowadays!

In response to the detailed HHS budget and NIH reorganization plans, TheHill reported, "“Returning to funding levels from two decades ago – and three decades ago when accounting for biomedical inflation – will set this nation back dramatically in our ability to reduce death and suffering from a disease that is expected to kill more than 618,000 Americans this year alone,” the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) said in a statement. “If the proposal is enacted, Americans today and tomorrow will be sicker, poorer, and die younger,” Mary Woolley, CEO of Research!America, a science advocacy nonprofit, said in a statement." The Hill went on to quote OMB director Russell Vought: "“It’s more about the NIH, and the NIH has been a bureaucracy that we believe has been weaponized against the American people,” he told CNN."

Fierce Health reported, "The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network joined in the condemnation of the proposal, which calls for a 37% cut, $2.7 billion, from the National Cancer Institute. “Moving backwards in funding would not only stall scientific breakthroughs but also impact our ability to combat the rising incidence of cancer nationwide,” the organization said. “Cuts have consequences, and those consequences are life threatening for cancer patients who could be waiting for the next clinical trial or research breakthrough.”"

Mike Hoerger on X, June 4, 2025
I'm writing an NIH grant, and my goal is for the application to include ZERO banned words.
I review file drafts one by one using @drseanmullen's ScanAssist app.
Despite my best efforts, I would have missed 8 banned words in my Biosketch if not for the app.

App output shows 8 instanced of banned words

RFK Jr.'s Lies Catch Up To Him As Old CNN Clip Goes Viral (Farron Balanced on YouTube, June 4, 2025 - 5:36 min.)
RFK, Jr.'s tenure at Health and Human Services is going from bad to worse, as he was busted AGAIN for putting fake studies in his recent MAHA report after he was supposed to remove them. To make matters worse, an old clip of him getting his butt handed to him on CNN has resurfaced and gone viral this week exposing him for being a massive liar.

White House scrambles to correct error strewn MAHA report (BMJ, June 4, 2025)
The US government has hastened to correct multiple citations in its first Make Our Children Healthy Againassessment,1 which pointed to non-existent studies or dead internet links. New errors have crept in during the correction process, and several authors whose studies are named accurately in the report argue that their research does not support its conclusions.Within hours of a 29 May report by the US news outlet NOTUS listing seven papers cited in the report that did not exist, the White House began replacing those citations with other studies.2 Initially it tracked and noted those changes in the report, following normal practice in scientific publishing. But as other errors have emerged—the New York Times found two more non-existent papers, and the Washington Post identified 21 dead links—the administration has stopped recording its changes while continuing to make them.
Officials have also scrubbed the tag “oaicite” that appeared in many citation links in the original report—a definitive indication that the research was gathered using the Open AI chatbot. AI chatbots have a known tendency to “hallucinate” imaginary studies, and students are frequently penalised for relying on them in academic settings.3

MSNBC wrote, "As the original NOTUS article noted, “As the Trump administration cuts research funding for federal health agencies and academic institutions and rejects the scientific consensus on issues like vaccines and gender-affirming care, the issues with its much-heralded MAHA report could indicate lessening concern for scientific accuracy at the highest levels of the federal government.”...Indeed, The Associated Press reported on Saturday that Americans “are losing a vast array of people and programs dedicated to keeping them healthy.” The AP added that recent cuts imposed by the Trump administration have reduced the nation’s public health system “to a shadow of what it once was , threatening to undermine even routine work at a time when the nation faces the deadliest measles outbreak since at least the 1990s, rising whooping cough cases and the risk that bird flu could spread widely among people.”"

The Hill reported, "“The content of the report really explained that every major government piece of public health advice over the past 30 years has been fake in a real substantial way,” said [RFK Jr advisor Calley] Means, the brother of Trump’s surgeon general nominee Casey Means."

Medicine Maker reported, "RFK Jr has also forth plans to ban federal scientists from publishing in prestigious medical journals such as The Lancet, JAMA, and The New England Journal of Medicine. Why? “They’re all corrupt,” he said in a podcast conversation with “biohacker” Gary Brecka. RFK Jr. proposes the alternative of state-run journals, where NIH funding would bestow the title of “good, legitimate scientist” upon researchers. He wants these state-sponsored publications to become the new gold standard in medical research dissemination."

State-run journals . . . wink-wink.

That brainworm really cleaned out his cranium.

At Substack Dr. Paul Offit, co-inventor of the rotavirus, discussed the issues involving the pregnant women and the Covid-19 vaccines. He wrote, "By late 2020, it was clear that Covid increased the risk of preeclampsia, preterm births, and other complications of pregnancy. Pregnant women with Covid were also more likely to be hospitalized, more likely to be ventilated in an intensive care unit, and more likely to die than women of the same age with Covid who weren’t pregnant. This wasn’t surprising. Because of their relatively immune suppressed state, pregnant women are susceptible to a variety of other severe respiratory diseases, like influenza...Normally, a change of this magnitude [announced on 27 May on X] would be vetted through the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP), professional groups like the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) among others, and public comment. Not this time. In fact, the CDC was completely blindsided by RFK Jr.’s announcement."

Is this another of these escaped bio-weapon conspiracies? Rotaviruses are of natural origin almost certainly the result of recombination amongst viruses affecting a variety of animal hosts, although the exact source of human rotaviruses has not been identified there is abundant evidence that human rotaviruses are the result of natural evolution and were not invented.

Co-discoverer, perhaps?

I meant to say that Dr. Offit is co-inventor of the vaccine against the rotavirus, RotaTeq. In the future I may have to refrain from commenting before I have had a cup of coffee.

NBCNEWS has a long article about the measles outbreak in Seminole, Texas. About the second fatality they wrote, "A cast of fringe doctors associated with Children’s Health Defense returned to the playbook, separating the pneumonia from the measles that preceded it, and claiming, once again, that the hospital was at fault. Via webcam this time, Tommey interviewed Daisy’s father, Peter Hildebrand, who blamed the hospital for Daisy’s death and stood by his choice not to vaccinate. Tommey told him the interview would “save lives.”"

You can rationalize all you want, but the truth is, you killed your daughter.

‘Absolutely Incredible’: Dr. Oz Slammed for Telling Medicaid Users to ‘Prove You Matter’

Dr. Mehmet Oz, President Donald Trump’s Administrator for Medicare and Medicaid Services, is facing sharp criticism after suggesting that the more than ten million people projected to lose their healthcare under the current Republican budget bill do not matter.

The legislation as written requires that many Medicaid users work and provide documentation that they have worked at least 80 hours each month, or be kicked off the critical safety net. Many Republicans have been suggesting Medicaid users are intentionally not working so they can collect federal government benefits like Medicaid. But many Medicaid users do work, and many cannot find jobs.

“Go out there, do the entry-level jobs, get into the workforce. Prove that you matter, get agency into your own life,” Dr. Oz, the former television talk show host and promoter of allegedly questionable health supplements and other products, told Fox Business.

“It’s a much more enjoyable experience if you’re going through a life thinking that you control your destiny, and you’ll get better insurance at the same time,” he claimed.

Nearly half of employers—about 46%—do not offer health insurance at all. Most exclude part-time workers from coverage. Gig workers typically receive no health benefits through their jobs. And many seasonal workers struggle to meet the monthly hour thresholds needed to remain eligible for Medicaid.

The Hill also reported that Dr. Oz said to people not willing to go back to work, volunteer, or take care of a loved one, “we are going to ask you to do something else. Go on the exchange, or get a job and get onto regular commercial insurance. But we are not going to continue to pay for Medicaid for those audiences.”
Go back to hawking colloidal silver, you ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ quack!

I saw this yesterday and was similarly irked. I've been trying to cut back on irked postings.
