The Truth about RFK Jr

A perfect candidate for "owning the libs." MAGA folk are real men who die with Covid and run their pick ups into trees in bad weather (two in my county today).

Nope. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/bad-medicine/

Ooo! Del Bigtree's anti-vax mob! Sure, I'm going to give them credence! LOL :D

Aah, your own anti-vax page. Jolly good. ;)

We have. Conclusion: Usual anti-vax raving nonsense. Being an anti-vaxxer is like seeing someone else choke on food, so they swear off eating for life.

There are many different types of COVID vaccine, made by different methods and using different modes of operation. They include the standard manufacturing methods used for decades for other vaccines which he has (apparently) taken. So specifically which ones has RFK Jr. not had, pray tell?
I used to be as closed-minded on this issue as you are, so I understand. You're using Snopes? Really? I bet you didn't bother to read a single one of the articles. Again, you might read Dr. Rand Paul's book and RFK Jr.'s book.

Curious: Biden just gave COVID vaccine makers immunity from being sued for injuries and other harmful side effects:

And, just on a point of fact: RFK Jr. is **not** "anti-vaccine." He's fine with any vaccine that undergoes the same safety tests that prescription drugs have to undergo: randomized and double-blind. And, BTW, I've had every vaccine recommended by the CDC, including the COVID vaccine.

Similar story here. Was immunised against measles but got mumps (as a child thank goodness - like religion, mumps is far worse of you catch it as an adult), rubella and scarlet fever.

I guess that losing well over a million to COVID has inured Americans to disease death so a few thousand kids dying each year to preventable diseases is a price worth paying to preserve "Mah Freedumz".

I had a cousin who had polio when she was very young, maybe the 1952 outbreak. She recovered though she walked with a limp -- one leg was shorter than the other -- and had to wear a back brace. I think it also affected her growth. she was under five feet tall. Her brother and two sisters, father and mother, were all in the 5'7" to 6'0" range. She was pretty active as an adult but I know it was difficult for her. Her family was just happy that 1) she survived it and 2) wasn't permanently paralyzed.

By the way-

The lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pick federal health officials for the incoming Trump administration has petitioned the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, which for decades has protected millions of people from a virus that can cause paralysis or death. Rather than giving forum-ites a homework assignment, could you present **a single** point or argument from one of those books or articles with accompanying evidence and links that you think is the *best* one?

I remember seeing several people around our small town and village with leg callipers as a result of polio.
One of them was my friend Peter's aunty Avril.

I suppose the most famous Polio survivor in the UK was Ian Dury

How do you do a randomised and double blind polio vaccine trail that doesn't kill children?
How about Tetanus?

I vaguely remember missing several weeks of school as a result of measles. I remember it vaguely because I wasn't well at the time.

I'm not likely to have much respect for people who want kids to have to go through that sort of thing unnecessarily.

I got the trifecta -- measles, mumps, and chicken pox -- as a preadolescent, so I'm probably immune to more infection; I also got vaccinated against rubella in second grade, and polio and (I think) smallpox as an infant. I am getting the booster for the shingles shot next week; one of my friends had a vicious shingles attack and that stuck with me. If it's easily preventable, why in the would would anyone think it's a good idea to inflict such suffering on people? Herd immunity also comes from proper vaccination, not just catching the plague.

I asked you to name the vaccines RFK Jr. has not used. I never said he has taken none.

Re testing, name any COVID vaccine that has not been tested thoroughly over decades. If you say "mRNA" then you are wrong.

Don't you know? mRNA isn't a vaccine it's an experimental gene therapy!!

That has been going on for decades...apparently. So we are all now part fruit-fly! ;)

I asked you earlier which of the vaccines we good and which are bad.

Come on, man! Tell us the wisdom of RFK!

My contention is that he’s a very obvious conman, and his “I’ve been vaccinated. My family’s been vaccinated.” is true enough (diseases are only for people dumb enough to fall for his anti-vaxx grift) but said to get his idiot disciples to repeat this mantra whenever they find people who call him anti-vaxx.

What makes it obvious is that RFK Jr will never tell you which of these vaccines he is definitely in favour of and which he isn’t. Because the moment he starts doing that is the moment he upsets his anti-vaxx audience.

I wouldn't rely on it. When I was at uni we had a mumps outbreak, of the 3 guys I knew who got it, all had already had it as kids. I hadn't, and didn't. Not a single mump.

I got the daily double when four, measles and chicken pox. Almost died. Did I get around to saying "◊◊◊◊ you " to RFK yet? If not, should he happen to be listening, ◊◊◊◊ yourself with a file.

I suppose one could bend and twist a little and say RFK is not "anti vaccine," because he is not abstractly against the idea that some kind of vaccine yet to be invented would be good. He's only against all the ones that actually exist.
