Trump's tweet is moronic. There is no question that OPEC nations are trying to increase oil prices. That's the whole point of the cartel.

What's dumb is Trump's policies regarding renewable resources and CAFE regs. We should constantly be keeping the donward pressure on oil consumption. But Trump and the American people forget this constantly. One only need to see the return to gas guzzling SUVs and trucks to notice how fast we forget the lesson.

OPEC plays OPEC's game, not anyone else's. Right now the Saudis like Trump so appearing to be in bed with Russia to keep prices high suits them. They can just as easily, as they have in the past, turn on the spigots and drive the people in North Dakota back into red ink. Trump understands nothing about oil. If he drives the prices down because of his trumpy personality and forceful oratorical skills, he makes his double-wide supporters happy because of lower gas station prices but he hurts the entire US oil production industry. If he gets the per barrel price higher, he helps his big money backers but Glenn and Marsha can't take that summer vacation to Wally World because fuel prices are too high.

What to do? What to do? Ooooh, I know,... blame the brown people.

Wow! That’s a real 180, so you think Trump deserves jail time now? I’m good with just impeachment.

No. He deserves some solid jail time.

And not in a pretty little Club Fed resort either.

Ideally a long stretch for a big bust in Louisiana would be ideal. (Does he have any shady property deals in NOLA?) Ten years in Angola sounds about right.

I agree that Trump should go to jail, but it is highly doubtful that this would happen to any president, impeached or not.
If Cohen and Manafort get long sentences it might go a long way to dissuade future henchmen to stick their necks out.
And most effective, IMO, would be if most of the Trump family plus Kushner would lose most of their money - that is the only place where it really hurts.

OTOH, there is no example of this insanity to judge by.

Interesting tweet.

IS he getting ready to sack Mueller?

Although, he does say Council, maybe he is on about some committee or other.

"James Comey illegally leaked classified documents to the press in order to generate a Special Council? Therefore, the Special Council was established based on an illegal act? Really, does everybody know what that means?"

He continues to not understand that his actions have consequences. This all came about because he fired Comey to obstruct Comey's Russia investigation and not what Comey did after being fired.

Lol
It wasn’t done to obstruct, as you can see it didn’t affect the investigation one bit. Now look at the position loser Comey is in. ;)

Interesting.

From that piece:

“For years, Mr. Cohen has described himself as unflinchingly devoted to Mr. Trump, whom he has admired since high school. He has told interviewers that he has never heard Mr. Trump utter an inaccuracy or break a promise.”

To believe the latter part would require either a mental disorder, or some sort of “True Believer” filtering of reality to avoid cognitive dissonance. If and when that facade crumbles, things could get very interesting.

Huge Twitter rant from Trump castigating the press and supporting Cohen.
He calls out an NYT reporter by name as the subject of his wrath

"The New York Times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Habberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will “flip.” They use....

....non-existent “sources” and a drunk/drugged up loser who hates Michael, a fine person with a wonderful family. Michael is a businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected. Most people will flip if the Government lets them out of trouble, even if....

....it means lying or making up stories. Sorry, I don’t see Michael doing that despite the horrible Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!"

Does he mean Maggie Haberman? You would think he would get the name of a Pulitzer winning journalist right.

I just watched an excerpt of Hannity on the Foxnews website. They were all the main talking points.
