Of course!

Video games.... and basic economics.....unsupported assertions! Scaremongering!

Hahaha, you idiot Europeans, I win.

(That's right isn't it?)

Mine was pretty much the same with Green and Lib Dem the other way round.

I always seem to come out Green with weak Lib Deb bias actually. Not really sure why

(But was he right?)

I haven't heard the actual discussion he had with the woman, but since some of it was about Eastern Europeans coming over here and Taking our Jobs and turning Rochdale into a Third World country I would not be in the least bit surprised if describing her as a bigot was not far off the mark.

Manna from heaven for the likes of the BNP though (and, well, everyone, really, but especially them because they can now say "See? We're the only party that understands you, the others are just pretending!")

I can see some merit in that, particularly if you want to equalise workloads. However it does beg the question as to whether Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland should have the same size constituencies as England.

As pointed out the UK Parliament does not have jurisdiction over certain matters outside England. As such non-English MPs will not have to deal with constituent queries concerning Health, Education etc, neither will they need to vote on those matters.

Seems to me that they will have a much smaller workload and can represent far more constituents. Think of the money it would save as well.

Maybe we could split up London and have those underemployed Scottish, Welsh and NIrish MPs adopt a constituency. Does away with the West Lothian question and lets the 'incomers' see that even in England there are areas of poverty to make you weep.

I had the opportunity to meet my new MP this afternoon (if the Tory doesn't get elected here then hell is freezing over).

I was talking to the lackey while waiting, and asked him about homoeopathy on the National Health. He said that his man would be for people to have the choice. I then shot my mouth off about wasting NHS money on unproven treatments. I then said I wouldn't bother asking the candidate as he would be tipped off about the right answer to give.

The lackey then, without prompting, informed me that one of the Tory local councillors was into homoeopathy and reiki. Brilliant man, knowing the voters opinion, tell him something that tells said voter your people are <censored>

Dave

ETA I think that this is the first time in thirty years in this house that we have been visited by a candidate in a general election.

I just got back from a local debate that was at least partially on science.

I've come to the opinion that my MP David Tredinnick is not a vapid moron who has no understanding of how anything works.

He's a vile lying disgusting piece of filth who happens to be a vapid moron who has no understanding of how anything works.
