I think he is refering to the french-speaking norman nobility who took over England in 1066+. French was the language off the upper class for a long time, and France and Burgund had a very strong cultural influence.

You could debate for hours though as to whether French (or at least Norman French) was ever the main language of Britain, or just the official language of a small chunk of it.

It is also apparent you are only using the dictionary to define the meaning of words. (In the box thinking.)

I've heard people make similar arguments with the definitions of Racism and Sexism. Conveniently, their "correct" definitions happened to exclude racism against white people and sexism against men.

Well if Shakespeare could write like that without knowing how to write then I propose we let deaf people make all our music.

Any water, actually ice, of the comet will evidently become vapour for a while and return to being ice of the comet after the slingshot. It may show up like a nice comet tail for us observers on Earth BUT after passage the tail returns to the comet again. A comet cannot shed anything, i.e. nothing can fall off a comet in motion, unless it collides with something but the probability for that is 0. Or close to.
NASA does not know anything about these matters as their only purpose is to steal money from US tax payers.

Controversy, confusions and unclarities prevail here in understanding photons on A&F level. I want better clear it. Just look at this simple example and tell me finally:-

From 1 to 10,

Whether photon is 0 or 1 or both?

Whether EMR is 1+1+1+1........=10

Whether EMR is 1111111111

Whether EM Force, EM energy and EM field are any of above. Above is just for example. If above does not match, how it can be expained differently by this type of example? Thanks.

I then asked him how he knew he was not still inside the cave watching shadows with everyone else.

Which reminds me of the time someone went to one of those people I mentioned earlier "If most people with privilege are blind to it, how can you be sure your [oppressed group] doesn't have privilege?" Their only response was basically "We...we don't have privilege." They never answered the question.
