Ed The JD Vance thread

Interesting. That's at least better than if he actually says Trump won. But he's still a slimy git.
I think it's a small amount of progress that people won't actually say it. They'll believe it, and they'll say it to their friends and supporters, but they won't say it on national TV any more.

Multiple Republican politicians have responded the same way to the same question. That must be the answer that offends Trump the least that they can publicly get away with. No one is allowed to say Trump lost.

The Republican elephant in the room.

Junior Dump is defending Trump's grossly exaggerated claim that a Venezuelan gang has taken over Aurora, CO.

Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance challenged Martha Raddatz on Sunday morning over a fact-check on former President Donald Trump’s claims that criminal migrant gangs had taken over a Colorado city.

On ABC’s This Week, the Republican senator from Ohio fired back in response to a comment by Raddatz that only a “handful” of Aurora apartment complexes had seen Venezuelan gang activity.

Trump has been accused of overstating the dangers members of the gang Tren de Aragua posed to the city. At a rally in Aurora on Friday evening, Trump vowed to go after criminal migrants nationwide and to name the operation to send them to their native countries after the city in what he called “Operation Aurora.”

Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, a Republican, issued a statement condemning Trump after the rally.

On This week, Raddatz asked Vance about the issue.

“So, do you support Donald Trump making those claims that the Republican mayor says were grossly exaggerated and have hurt the city’s identity and sense of safety?” she asked. “I understand what you’re saying that some people left behind. But he’s making these statements that the mayor is flat-out disputing.”
RADDATZ: Senator Vance, I’m going to stop you because I know exactly what happened. I’m going to stop you. The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes – apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns. A handful of problems.

VANCE: Only, Martha, do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris’s open border? Americans are so fed up with what’s going on and they have every right to be and I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs. I worry so much more about that problem than anything else here. We’ve got to get American communities in a safe space again. And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions, most of whom are unvetted, most of whom you don’t know who they really are, you’re going to have problems like this. Kamala Harris’ 94 executive orders that undid Donald Trump’s successful border policies, we knew this stuff would happen.

RADDATZ: That’s –.

VANCE: They bragged about opening the border and now we have the consequences and we’re living with it. We can do so much better, but frankly, we’re not going to do better, Martha, unless Donald Trump calls this stuff out. I’m glad that he did.

RADDATZ: Okay. Let’s – let’s just – let’s just end that with they did not invade or take over the city as Donald Trump said. I want to move on to just –

VANCE: A few apartment complexes, no big deal.

He's doing what he did to the Haitians in Springfield: repeating false or highly exaggerated stories intended to inflame people against immigrants. And some here cannot see the correlation to what Hitler did in the 1930's. Because, you know, the have "bad genes".

I have Vance hot favourite to become President if Trump somehow wins the election.

There is no way that fat, disgusting, demented old man will last four years.

Four months, maybe.

Unlike other Presidents who take the job seriously - and age significantly as a result, President Trump won't do anything different to his usual routine so IMO it's likely that he'll survive his second term.

But will US democracy?

i know nobody commented on this but i have to say this is the absolute dumbest you will see jd vance. this should be a commercial

Thank you for posting this. I am going through a time right now and it gave me a much needed chuckle.

“Members of my family actually got private health insurance at least for the first time, switched off Medicaid onto private insurance for the first time, under Donald Trump’s leadership,” Vance said at the vice presidential debate earlier this month."

GREAT!
However he failed to mention a key fact - it was through the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare.

"JD" must stand for "Just Dishonest".

JFC, this guy is so full of it.

After dodging the issue for weeks, Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance said unequivocally on Wednesday he believes false claims that Donald Trump did not lose the 2020 election.

Taking questions from reporters at a campaign event in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Vance was again asked if Trump lost to President Joe Biden four years ago.

“On the election of 2020, I've answered this question directly a million times. No! I think there are serious problems in 2020,” Vance said. “So, did Donald Trump lose the election in 2020? Not by the words that I would use.”

If Trump wins and keels over in office, this guy will have the nuclear launch codes.

Ihate to say it, but I am more comfortable with Vance having his finger on the button then Trump. Vance is just a opportunist, Trump seems batcrap crazy.
Of course, I hope neither has it.

Okay, that's defensible logic. It would be great if we didn't have to fear both bat-crap crazy and crap-for-brains stupid.

Question about Vance is is he really that stupid, or he is just playing to his audience?
