Are there any cases of this crud working because it all seems to be hypothetical and many of the FOTL posters appear to know of it hypothetically but not actually in court.

We have a legal system that has evolved through 100's of years and I would have thought that these arguments over jurisdiction and sovereignty and legal entities would have been well sorted out by now.

So is this thing the worst conspiracy waffle ever, due to the fact that it would appear you get into more trouble if you try it, or some light hearted fun that we can laugh at like Apollo hoaxers:D or Chemtrailers.:D

Pardon my ignorance but until a short while ago I had no idea this sort of thing existed, maybe I should get out more.

The chap who started this thread, Especially, is unemployed, lives with his parents and doesn't have a car, so his beliefs in FOTL don't impact him at all. The other buffoons who buy into it end up, as another poster put, "BMIJ" - Broke Men In Jail. You get idiots thinking that going to prison over a parking ticket, instead of paying the £30, is a victory, all wrapped up in cod-legal waffle. Any videos ever posted on youtube are all edited where it comes to the punchline as to whether the FOTLer got away with "not contracting" or not.

In answer to your last paragraph, the answer is both yes and no - practicing FOTL makes your legal situation much, much worse, but reading their posts is hilarious (if a little malicious!) amusement.

Personally, I'm counting down the days until Especially's suspension is over and he returns with more hilarious nonsense.

It was all to do with his beloved "consent" theory.
I have in the past told him that if he doesnt want to consent to societies rules then he should leave.
His response was that he didnt have to and could do as he pleased.
Now my post in not consenting to his forum (society) rules has resulted in me being removed from his forum (society):D:D
Yet he expects to roam around claiming all the benefits of society yet not consenting to anything he chooses.
Unfortunatly for Rob his society wont throw him out it will lock him up.
By the way Rob, I know you read these threads, Bacon Norm was an anagram of Conman Rob;)

Ah yes three years and only 501 posts - that must mean I have a real life!

It is sad that the sovereign movement and now fotl leads to people getting killed but then if these ideologies didn't exist these people would probably just be religious nuts or some other type of extremists.

May 27 will be the day Especially will return and explain how we wasn't suspended from these forums because he never contracted for suspension, nor did Lisa Simpson obey her oath in suspending him.

My only question is does Lisa have her flags fringed or tasseled?

LOL! Good call. I think it's absolutely pathetic that people can't spend a couple days in jail while going through this "fight", if my 50 year old mother can do it, surely others can too right? What about the poor helpless people being bombed and their families shot up? Think they have it better than you? The reason we are doing this, is to stop this sort of thing... If you can't fight for it, put the word freedom out of your vocabulary. Look at someone like Rob Menard, the time he had to spend in jail, the information hes put out because of it. Move over chemtrails, this "Freeman" movement is absolutely the god-damned dumbest, most braindead thing I've ever heard. Is it wrong that I have feelings of smug satisfaction knowing that these people will be eventually be thrown in jail and/or hounded relentlessly by creditors, not to mention the IRS, until the end of their existence?

My main problem with FMOTL is that the so-called "leaders" of the movement are the ones starting websites, selling books or videos, or on some sort of "lecture circuit" promoting "the movement". They do not do anything except watch their bunnies go to prison, and then claim some sort of victory,

They do mostly not practice what they preach, and merely take fiat money off ignorant people who seem to believe that "it's on tha intratubes, so it must be true"

The so called leaders are simply stiffing ignorant people who wind up in court and perhaps prison because they believe in the nonsense, while the proponents of the movement swell their bank accounts by accepting this so called advice?.

Is the Internet the ultimate two edged sword?

Have you seen the guy on DI forum wanting to get out of a speeding ticket? Reading his comments and the others on the post have left me dumbfounded. I hope to god people like this never prevail.

There is no arguing with most of these freemen people - it is exactly like banging your head against a brick wall.
