All of what law ?
The law of the country in which you are living.
All of what law ?
So, please tell us, which law the 'bobbies' are sworn to uphold. It is (of course) the law of this land. The Common Law. And nothing else.
Any social order. The only way to avoid being part of one is to become a hermit, see no-one and live on nuts and berries.
I did not join the European Union.
I did not join Parliament and nobody asked my opinion about it.
Yes, you did, because your lawful representatives (under the constitution that you love to cite) did so on your behalf.
Yes, but I have the power of consent. I never consented to join any society. My consent was never asked for. Not once. I never gave it. Did I ?
The law of the country in which you are living.
Since God alone is the ruler of his creation all other laws are man made and not relevant or binding on I, whom am free.
Yes, but I have the power of consent. I never consented to join any society. My consent was never asked for. Not once. I never gave it. Did I ?
You are right.
The law of the land.
And the law of the land is the Common Law. Which states that if no loss or harm is caused to an individual there is no crime. Which also recognises the Rights of the individual.
You are right.
The law of the land.

'Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself. For this IS the law and the prophets'
(New Testament)
Therefore, what politicians do or what parliaments do, or what theologians do, is irrelevant to me. I am under the Common Law and maintain my lawful rights. That suits me fine. I retain my power of consent under the law of this land. And nobody takes my lawful rights from me. We have governments who serve people or people who serve governments. I choose the first.
I'll lay odds you didn't consent to birth either; didn't stop that happening.
The law of the land also includes statute law. Whether you like it or not.
Mojo,
You are a little ignorant of this subject, aren't you ?
1. The law of this land recognises the right of its people not to be subject to the laws of a foreign power
2. The law of this land recognises the right of its people not to be under the rule of a foreign power.
3. It is unlawful for politicians or members of unelected dynasties to surrender national sovereignty to a foreign power.
(All of these facts are plainly stated in the Bill of Rights)
4. The people of this land did NOT vote at any time for European Union and no referendum was ever given to them on this issue of EU membership.
I am not a member of any paid, oath swearing society.
Good to know. If and when you put that to an actual test, please keep us informed of your progress and result.
Until that point, you know, the point where you have real evidence of your claims, you aren't all that convincing.
The Bill of Rights is a statute.
By the principle of Parliamentary Sovereignty any Parliament can by a simple majority overturn any Act passed by a previous Parliament.
You live in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. While you live there you are subject to its laws. Statute law is considered (this is the simple version) to be the codification of the common law. The common law only applies in areas where the law has not been codified.
For example much of contract law is still common law.
Another example - murder is a common law crime - but the penalty is prescribed by statute.
Rape used to be a common law crime but is now defined by statute.
Police constables swear to uphold the law - i.e. both common law and statute law.
Their powers come originally from common law but over the centuries they have been added to and removed by statutory means and by interpretation (common law)
Simples!
Statutes are binding on members of the Society who make them.
