I suspect that one of the most common such exemptions that regular people would be likely to encounter would be Status Indian tax exemptions. That sounds just like something these guys would love to get for themselves: "How is it the Indians managed to get this special status? How can I get it for myself?", all the while ignoring the entire history behind such exemptions - to them, it's just the magic card that saves the guy some money.

Occasionally, I work at a store in Millbrook First Nation, in Nova Scotia and I quickly became surprised at the amount of envy whitey has towards Status Indian exemption. It gets really boring, after a while.

I've known some Aboriginal people who considered it a bone thrown to them and refuse to use their band number.

I agree, also since a notary is an agent of the government how can he exempt anyone from the laws of the government?

Yes,short update.... I now have a date for a hearing at Leeds High Court on the 24th june. I have spoken to the people at Leeds and it seems to be a 'directions hearing'. I'll be doing a bit of directing myself ! I'm going to write a letter to the judge dealing,setting out exactly what and who I want involved. I will also be pointing the judge to look at some you tube videos,so that he understands that I KNOW what fraud has been perpetrated against me. The 2 main ones will be ''Money as Debt 2'' and ''Money Masters''. I may also be issuing some subpoenas,if certain people refuse to attend voluntarily.

I'll let you know if there are any more developments before the date....

I believe Menard's argument is all down to consent. A FOTL may withdraw their consent to any statute they choose but they may consent to those that suit them. Also as those that hold power live their lives by statute law his argument I believe is that they have consented to be governed and are bound by statutes.
So it would be possible to have a court case where the FOTL as a defendant is exempt from an Act which is being used to prosecute him although he may still use any technicalities within that Act as a defence as the court itself is bound by that Act.
I think that's how his argument goes.

I think the idea of directing a judge to watch youtube videos is kinda cute.

To paraphrase an old "not the nine o'clock news" (i think) sketch....

Judge: A yootoob video? What is that?

Counsel: M'lud, it is a low resolution, compressed... erm... video posted....ermm... presented..... on a website.... on the internet, M'lud, and watched for free....by various persons.

Judge: Hmmmmph I see, I see. You may proceed....

Counsel: Thank you M'lud, now the defendant claims that the "Dirty Doris x5000 Love Doll"....... whatever that is.....

Judge: Ahhh, that's the one with the realistic pubic hair!

Canadian law is a 'dialect' of the English & Welsh system. I'm comfortable reading Canadian case law & legislation but don't have the training / knowledge to pick up on the nuances.

I'd have thought 'faking' a case would beyond the mental capacity of Menard.

10 years ago I moved to CA specifically to take up a job for which I had been hired while still living in Pennsylvania. I didn't get around to giving up my PA license and obtaining a CA one for over 5 months.

Naah, you only get the money if your car is a statutory Fiat.

ETA: Sorry, there's a typo there, it should say stationary (as in stopped by the police) Fiat.

EATA: They make a special model for lawyers, you know. It's called the Fiat Justitia.

$8 million is up for grabs. We just have to send $250 to the guy who knows how to get it. Sounds perfectly reasonable. Not like a scam at all.

If Menard actually does try to drive his FOTL-mobile around Vancouver, that will be a small step up in legitimacy for him whatever the outcome. I'm not holding my breath.

Is this thread of 'especially's' getting to old, long and difficult to read? Should we create a new thread directly involved with Rob Menard's brand of nonsense?
