Well it was only a matter of time before wildlife started to reclaim rural areas after people stopped working in agriculture. We don't have all that many wolves in Sweden, but we have plenty of wild boars (or "vildsvin", wild swine) especially in the south of the country. Yet hunting isn't as popular as it used to be, and as they lack any natural predators to keep populations levels down, their population has increased a lot the last couple of years. Climate change is also going to make it so they spread further up north.
For the most part, the worst thing they do is root around in peoples lawns, and with more farmland being underutilized they have plenty of areas to live in. As a consequence of Chernobyl, they become contaminated with Cesium-137 when they are rooting around in the areas where the nuclear fallout landed.
A recent article in a newspaper was about how Norwegian farmers have become upset about Swedish wild boars moving over the border, which can end up with them breeding with their sow and severely wounding their tame hogs, as wild boars are stronger and faster.
