The Bible is a Human Artifice!!!

Thank you for ADMITTING you never read the OP, so.... QED!!!!!!

(Am I doing this right?)

Needs more highlighting, bolding, and links.

Oh, and a meme. Don't forget a meme.

While I agree with my fellow judges that there were some technical failings, I feel that your capiitalsation of 'ADMITTING' really sold the emotional truth that is the heart of this dance.

I give it an eight.

Here are some more people who belie the claim that no one believes that YHWH wrote the bible and that it was written in the Dialect of Canaanite using the flawed incomplete abjad of the Arameans.

This is part 2 of a two part debate... watch the first 5 minutes...

Here is part 1

The claim is that no one here, on this forum, has that belief. Pay attention to what people write. No one here would deny that there are religious loonies "out there".

Nope... as clearly evinced by what "people wrote" it is you who needs to "pay attention to what people write"...

There are some fundamentalist denominations of Christianity that aver that The Bible is the inerrant Word of God. However even they do not believe that the Bible was literally written by God Himself.....
Regardless of all that, I can’t think of one denomination or even small splinter cult that believes the Bible was literally written by God.......

Sigh…No, the Jewish people do not actually believe that the Torah was literally written by God in black fire on white fire....

Xjx said he couldn't think of even a splinter group. You were able to find some obscure individual who is a kook and has opinions out of sync with Judaic thought. Congratulations.

Random individual nuts remain not representative of "What The Jews Believe" per your claim. The criticism stands.

  1. Even one person is enough to rive to dust the claims... QED!!!
  2. And that guy is a christian apologist doing casuistry for Evangelical christianity... graduated from seminary school
  3. And of course as you have admitted already... you have not bothered to read anything to do with the thread
  4. I have already provided numerous proofs of many more than one... QED!!!
Maybe watching youtube videos might be your cup of tea... here watch these... I even advanced the video to the important part where pertinent so you won't have to waste time listening to all of it.

  5. And this one which you failed to read properly and due to that failure in reading it properly you accused me of lying and despite your error being demonstrated to you, you have not bothered to retract the accusation or admit your error.
What Christians believe is immaterial... the Jews believe it ... they even say the Torah was in heaven even before there were humans.

    Quote:
    THE FIRST THINGS CREATED
In the beginning, two thousand years before the heaven and the earth, seven things were created: the Torah written with black fire on white fire, and lying in the lap of God; the Divine Throne, erected in the heaven which later was over the heads of the Hayyot; Paradise on the right side of God, Hell on the left side; the Celestial Sanctuary directly in front of God, having a jewel on its altar graven with the Name of the Messiah, and a Voice that cries aloud, "Return, ye children of men."

It is a Midrash.... do you know what that is... do you know what century that is???

You claim it is "what Jews believe". But that is a lie. The 20th century composition is called "The Legends of The Jews", not The Beliefs of The Jews.

Yup. In this case, a 20th century author who spun a narrative by rewriting a cool story while, by its own admission, never quoting older works

Claiming that this cool modern Legend story is "what the Jews believe" is plumbing new depths of dishonesty.

  6. So... QED!!!

"Four Jews, five opinions." That's a Jewish saying. From my amused gentile viewpoint, it's a plain statement of fact. So? Nu? Oy? I'm maybe a Talmudnik?

Mostly I get my jollies by explaining to Jews that in the Mormon world they too are gentiles. This is, of course, an untruth; I believe we could call it a human artifice.

"Artifice" is, of course, the wrong word. "Artifact" was probably the word sought for during the composition of the OP and the thread title.

"Composition" is, probably, also a wrong word, as it implies deliberate structuring, i.e., thought. A phrase may be called for to describe the productions that characterize so much of this thread. Allow me to suggest "projectile logorrhea."

Not to an honest person, it doesn't.

You could show you a video of a Brit who thinks the Royal Family are lizards. But if you were to claim "The British believe the Royal Family are lizards", you would rightly be called out as the most intellectually cowardly of liars.

And that, my good man, done be QEDed
.
-And that guy is a christian apologist doing casuistry for Evangelical christianity... graduated from seminary school

So what? Has he been elected public spokesperson for that seminary's beliefs, or is he flying off on his own tangent? You want me to show you the works of nutjobs who graduated Harvard?

-And of course as you have admitted already... you have not bothered to read anything to do with the thread

That is a lie. I have said, quite accurately, that neither myself nor anyone else is clicking on your endless linking to yourself and reposting. They were stupid the first time, and not likely improving with repetition.

However, the first postings of external evidence are being read and considered. You know this, because you have seen replies criticizing your logical flubs in including them. As below, for instance.

I have already provided numerous proofs of many more than one... QED!!!

Of course I didn't retract it. You just doubled down on your nonsensical, ridiculous proofs, getting sillier than your original argument.

Brother Leumas, I don't know if this is a Poe or what, but I'm long bored of it. See ya around.

The guy in the video is an Evangelical Christian... the antithesis of Judaism... so yet again ... wrong... and that is on top of you failing to recognize that EVEN ONE person will suffice to belie the claim in the posts below.

There are some fundamentalist denominations of Christianity that aver that The Bible is the inerrant Word of God. However even they do not believe that the Bible was literally written by God Himself.....

Now back to the topic

Both Modern Hebrew and Modern Arabic actually do have diacritics that can be used to specify the vowels... but those diacritics more often than not go unused.

I guess Delvo has given up... maybe someone else can answer instead....

Can you tell me what is this word.... דלב ..... how is it pronounced ... choose say the Latin alphabet or the Cyrillic alphabet or the Greek to transliterate it in writing... or perhaps the ancient one of the Sanskrit (a.k.a. Hindi... a.k.a. Devanagari).

Is it Dolab or Delov or Dalov or Delve or Dilaba or Dulevo or what???

And... How does the meaning of this sentence change in a major theological and legal significance (לא-תבשל גדי, בחלב אמו) if this word (חֵלֶב) is used instead of (חֲלֵב) ???

Notice the only difference is the nequdot which YHWH neglected to invent or think about adding to his handwritten script he anachronistically borrowed from the Arameans... or even better do what the Greeks did by adding full out graphemes that represent the range of phonetics of their language.

Now can you see what is wrong with an abjad?

How does the meaning of this sentence change in a major way (علم ٱلإِنسـن ما لم يعلم) if this word (عَلَمْ) is used instead of (عَلَّمَ) ???

Script is meant to represent the spoken words (phonetics) on a medium for the purpose of reproduction at a later time/place....

If a script does not have the representations of all the phonemes and phonetics of the language then it is flawed and incomplete in its representation of that language.

And if the later time or place cannot be sure how the original sound was made and cannot produce it close enough or even may induce the wrong word altogether due to the lack of graphemes... then the script is flawed and incomplete and can lead to wrong pronunciations of the words it is meant to help preserve or even to confusing words with other words changing the meaning of the written content.

What do you think this sentence is saying
ths batfl atry sppls mat ps

This often occurs when the script is borrowed by one language from another since the script was invented for the purpose of the other language not the language borrowing it... like in the case of some European languages borrowing the Latin and having had to adapt the Latin alphabet in all sorts of additive ways.

Since an abjad is missing vowels... vowel indicators had to be INVENTED by humans to DISAMBIGUATE words that could have ambiguous meaning depending on which vowel sounds they have which is not indicated if you do not have vowel graphemes.

Look up and read on the history of the Nequdot system and why it had to be invented.... also look at how many attempts at improving YHWH's handwriting have been done in Tiberias and Babylon and Palestine and Samaria.
