Oh, and a meme. Don't forget a meme.
Here are some more people who belie the claim that no one believes that YHWH wrote the bible and that it was written in the Dialect of Canaanite using the flawed incomplete abjad of the Arameans.
This is part 2 of a two part debate... watch the first 5 minutes...
Here is part 1
The claim is that no one here, on this forum, has that belief. Pay attention to what people write. No one here would deny that there are religious loonies "out there".
There are some fundamentalist denominations of Christianity that aver that The Bible is the inerrant Word of God. However even they do not believe that the Bible was literally written by God Himself.....
Regardless of all that, I can’t think of one denomination or even small splinter cult that believes the Bible was literally written by God.......
Sigh…No, the Jewish people do not actually believe that the Torah was literally written by God in black fire on white fire....
Nope... as clearly evinced by what "people wrote" it is you who needs to "pay attention to what people write"...
Xjx said he couldn't think of even a splinter group. You were able to find some obscure individual who is a kook and has opinions out of sync with Judaic thought. Congratulations.
Random individual nuts remain not representative of "What The Jews Believe" per your claim. The criticism stands.
What Christians believe is immaterial... the Jews believe it ... they even say the Torah was in heaven even before there were humans.
Quote:
THE FIRST THINGS CREATED
In the beginning, two thousand years before the heaven and the earth, seven things were created: the Torah written with black fire on white fire, and lying in the lap of God; the Divine Throne, erected in the heaven which later was over the heads of the Hayyot; Paradise on the right side of God, Hell on the left side; the Celestial Sanctuary directly in front of God, having a jewel on its altar graven with the Name of the Messiah, and a Voice that cries aloud, "Return, ye children of men."
It is a Midrash.... do you know what that is... do you know what century that is???
You claim it is "what Jews believe". But that is a lie. The 20th century composition is called "The Legends of The Jews", not The Beliefs of The Jews.
Yup. In this case, a 20th century author who spun a narrative by rewriting a cool story while, by its own admission, never quoting older works
Claiming that this cool modern Legend story is "what the Jews believe" is plumbing new depths of dishonesty.
-Even one person is enough to rive to dust the claims... QED!!!
-And that guy is a christian apologist doing casuistry for Evangelical christianity... graduated from seminary school
-And of course as you have admitted already... you have not bothered to read anything to do with the thread
I have already provided numerous proofs of many more than one... QED!!!
-And this one which you failed to read properly and due to that failure in reading it properly you accused me of lying and despite your error being demonstrated to you, you have not bothered to retract the accusation or admit your error.
"Four Jews, five opinions." That's a Jewish saying. From my amused gentile viewpoint, it's a plain statement of fact. So? Nu? Oy? I'm maybe a Talmudnik?

"Artifice" is, of course, the wrong word. "Artifact" was probably the word sought for during the composition of the OP and the thread title.
Both Modern Hebrew and Modern Arabic actually do have diacritics that can be used to specify the vowels... but those diacritics more often than not go unused.
