I don't think this is the kind of "help" he needs, this is more the kind of stuff he wants to avoid.Aren't you a good friend who can support him? What was your response when asked to help him show that telepathy exists?![]()

Yes, that is exactly the kind of help he needs to show that telepathy exists. What kind of help were you thinking he needs? Psychological?
I do agree with you that both you and he will go to any lengths to avoid a fair test that would help show that telepathy exists.
As a matter of fact, he seems to be one of the people with the best understanding of telepathy on this forum.
Yes, and this can only be "the" KOA. Conspiracies, excuses and eventual invective.
You could be no other.
I did not realize one could earn a masters' degree in parasitism.
You might have magnets in you brain. I know I haven't.
How true. Talking underpants have the same rep.
The brain produces electro-magnetic impulses, that can be measured, sorta.
We just have no way of measuring their ability to travel...
Yes we do.
Tomorrow, maybe we'll be able to monitor magnetic output from the human brain
The, 1970s, actually.More bull ****. It would be extremely easy to detect telepathic ability if it existed. Not only did Loss Leader and I spell out how it could be done, you actually agreed to do it...right up until you backed out.
Tomorrow? Seriously? If there were magnetic output from the brain, we'd have detected it centuries ago. Ever hear of a compass?
Soooo... I got an email from Eran from the Australian Skeptics pointing out that they actually have a reward of $100k. Thanks for correcting me, Eran. The Australian Skeptics still has ten grand.

I think you should look at the general spirit of his posts, which seem fairly right to me, not so much at details.
We've been able to monitor magnetic output from the human brain since the 1970s. Within the last decade or so, we've been able to harness that output to do useful work.
If there were telepathy there, we'd have found it by now.
What was this 'general spirit' from your perspective? What positive aspects of KotA's posts have you noticed?
We have every way possible to measure their ability to travel. This is part of why we now know that telepathy as described cannot exist. The brain produces electro-magnetic impulses, that can be measured, sorta.

The electromagnetic impulses emitted by all those neurons firing in our brains are a bit like the noises made by the crowd in a packed football stadium.Plus, researchers have mapped out the brain and not found any places where radio or magnetic or any other kind of long-range signal could be produced or received. And, it is clear that the brain doesn't consume or emit enough energy to produce such a signal. If there was a Bluetooth device in our heads, it would have been discovered long ago.
