A genuine telekinesiologist has joined the forum, here.

I've invited him in here for a chat as his only three posts so far are in one of my dead threads.

For Example:

Why should I fly to work when I can drive there? Why should I cook food with my mind when I could just pop it in the microwave?

You could also look at it this way: I can't fly to work, so I better invent a car to take me instead. I can't cook food with my mind, so I will invent a microwave to do it for me.

Much simpler, eh?

I think the future is now, actually. About a year ago I became deeply interested in telekinesis. I tried to develope it and suceeded with very tangable results. But i'm not the only one because people in school are able to do it also after being taught the basics.

Can you describe some of the tangible results?

Interesting.

What are "the basics" one would need to learn in order to develop these abilities?
Who has the potential to develop them? All/most/some/few?
How long did it take the people at school to learn?
Would being skeptical (to say the least) of telekinetic abilities prevent me from learning if I was so inclined?

Note that skeptical does not equal close-minded. I would love to learn how to acquire and/or develop these abilities. It would be an unbelievably important discovery.

You really should attach the :D when doing things like this so people won't think you actually stepped in -oops, believe in telekinesis.:jaw-dropp

Of course I worry about the use of smilies since the guy is clearly total fraud!! :D

A guy arrives who is about to disprove almost every physical and mathematical law of the entire universe and you're worrying about my use of smilies??!!??

Thank's for making this thread athiest.

Sorry for the wait guys.
I'v been studying for exams.....lol(fly's exam paper across the room)

so...
wow...

This is the first forum I've ever been regestered to and this is my first thread...ever, so it will take a little getting used to.

So I will try and answer all of your questions as best I can and as quickly as possible. Hang tight!

Welcome.

Who taught you the "basics"?

With a talent like telekinesis, why bother with school? You could make a fortune demonstrating your talent, starting with the JREF $1 million challenge.

I sincerely hope this isn't one of those deals where you concentrate on a cork bobbing around in a dish of water and convince yourself it's being moved by telekinisis.

Can you describe some of the tangible results?

Yes I can. I put my time into the movement of "light objects"(sheets of paper (8 1/2 x 11) and bending objects (spoons and paper) from a distance. Bending spoons is still a toughy for me but the paper is much easier. And just incase your wondering, when bending the paper, it isn't being touched. The average distance i've achieved for doing any of the above is approximatly 10-15 feet(I think it doesn't matter how far as long as you can see the object).

And that's about it. I expect to see more improvement seeing as I've only been doing it for 2 months.

TIP:
If anyone is trying to learn telekinesis, you might have better luck at night. I mean late (2:00-3:00) because I feel the more tired I get, the
more my mind wanders into creativity...

...and mabye in the corner of your eye...the pendelum that doesn't work will start to move.

No jokes. It happened to me and after that I started getting into this stuff. I think that's why people dream.

Also, dought cancels EVERYTHING!!! Even one shred. At one point, my parents convinced me it wasn't real and then couldn't do it anymore. After a while I regained it back because I discarded what they said.

Just rememmber this:

Questions lock up the mind, so if you have any ask me.

I'll assume you mean "doubt" here. Doesn't it occur to you that coming into a skeptics forum, and declaring that any doubt will make results impossible, is just a little self-serving? Even if we were to try and replicate your results, and failed, you could just wave away our failure as being because we doubted ourselves, and not as a result of your techniques being flawed.

Hey there Telekineseologist,
You're not by any chance studying to go into medicine or some other field that requires certain...critical thinking skills are you?

I kind of figured most of it on my own but the internet played it's role too.
One way I differentiated between a gust of wind and telekinesis was to switch directions of whatever object it was, multiple times.
The reason why I'm in school is to study a form of physics so I can prove at later time that most of the theory's are false lol. The only way you can prove something wrong is if you have the right credentials. The $1 million challenge was definitly tempting, but I have made up my mind that I will only use this ability for mostly educational purposes and mabye the odd golfball in the face.

Very wise. Who needs $1m anyway, it would just get in the way.

You don't think it would be educational to demonstrate to the JREF (and all those who would know of your successful test) that your powers are real?

You don't think you could use the one million dollars to help you educate others?

Sounds suspiciously like a dodge to me.
